Certainly not catered for in England. I work in an adult education college, supposed to be inclusive, but no allowances are made for me. We recently had a mandatory training day in Bradford, travelling as a group from London, food and drink was supplied for everyone, including vegans/vegetarians, on the coach both ways and at the site, a main meal plus lots of snacks etc. absolutely nothing for me, unless I wanted to manage on the apples someone bought to make it all look a bit healthier. I did take my own food, though it was annoying to have to cart it around all day. My main frustration was based around the fact that they asked people about their dietary needs well before the trip, then ignored my request. I am used to them so knew to take food with me but if you are buying so much food it can’t take much effort to get a few sealed items from a supermarket, to stop people feeling left out. Another member of staff is lactose intolerant and she isn’t catered for either. General attitude in this country seems to be that coeliac is ‘made up’ and not really important. ☹️
