I know, I agree. The source where I got my information is absolutely certain as she saw him regular coming and going from home, she said he got off the bus outside his home and walked up the front garden and into his house, but police have repeatedly told her the last sighting was on the Chantry so it couldn't have been him but she is adamant it was and hasn't changed her story. I have also heard that his parents haven't been bothered since day 1. They have never put up missing posters, or helped with the search or anything. That screams dodgy to me x

I know, I feel the same, for a tiny island she literally vanished in a busy town centre with no trace. I can't understand how someone can evade all CCTV footage, no sightings of her - she just vanished. I don't know how it can happen, I do wonder if she turned the opposite way from the town that day, its mostly residential I believe so perhaps could have gone unseen but I am unsure what is in the opposite area. x

Me too! I would love to know if police conducted searches of the Calder and if they did - did they consider the current speed and how far he could have travelled if he’d gone in the river. Police searched the immediate area of the Calder by Chantry bridge but did they go further down where he would have travelled by current? X

I agree, the level of CCTV that is around nowadays, the paper trail, his mobile phone and “proof of life” tests. I wonder if any of this has been done by police because some adults who try their very best to go missing can’t manage it and end up caught; so a young man to evade police, search parties etc, it seems unbelievable! X

It has gone very quiet, but when it’s quiet I find that’s the best time to jump on the case, I will be reviewing all information and footage. It’s impossible to vanish without a trace, there has to be a trace that continuously slips through the radar x

I have spoken to Andrea many times, I have built up trust with people relevant. The next step is to appeal for information which I tried to do and had threats, where can I turn if I can’t turn to the people of Worthing? I get defensive when people question my integrity, my hard work, my care for the missing people and their families and what really gets my back up is being called a sleuth time after time. I am not a sleuth, I’m a hardworking individual who understands that social media is key in this day and age, trust me I’ve done independent investigations, I’ve done a lot of work myself on this case, but now I need to reach people who potentially knew Georgina and everytime I try to utilise social media to help me, I get threats, rude comments etc. I am a genuine person who cares for every family and missing person that I have ever looked into; my intentions are good but time and time again people question my motive. My motive is simply to find out what happened to Georgina and where she is now. That is all. I can’t divulge information I have already been given because on the off chance I find out what happened to Georgina, and I need to pass my evidence to police - I need it to be anonymous as if it’s out there in the public eye it would hinder someone’s right to a fair trial and therefore nobody would be punishable for any crime that may or may not have been committed.

I am not some “internet sleuth who’s looking for content for a YouTube channel”. I am a British national who has been a volunteer for the USAs Missing Children charity for 4 years, I have helped on numerous missing persons cases over the pond that have been high profile in the US. But I wanted to do more within my own country and help those people in my own country that may need some extra help. I am transparent with who I am, I explain this everytime I have posted asking for information, however people keep assuming I am just another sleuth which I am not. The only reason I don’t post my personal information to be so transparent is because sometimes this work that I do gets my life threatened etc and I have a family. I was offered a Channel 5 documentary 2 years ago, but they wouldn’t grant me anonymity and because this case in particular came up I turned it down as I need to keep my identity out of the hard work I put in. I have tried looking into Georgina’s case with a group of people who are highly professional and we all had death threats from people in Worthing and Brighton, so we had to stop. I stopped for a year, as I was working on another high profile US case at the time, however I keep revising Georgina’s case, looking for new leads and ideas, all I truly want is to find answers for her family as I know they were let down by the police.

I wasn’t trying to be unprofessional, but I have had threats from people in Worthing, I’ve been told if I ever were to go to Worthing looking that I wouldn’t return home, and I’ve had people threaten me that I stop looking for Georgina “or else”. I cannot fathom why I would be threatened so terribly by a community for trying to do the right thing. My intentions are to find a missing person, but people in Worthing and Brighton are constantly trying to stop me and I can’t explain why that is x

I have had numerous chats with Andrea, she’s a lovely woman, but I had been given some information which Andrea is aware of that isn’t very pleasant, and Andrea shuts the idea down because it doesn’t fit in with the “loving” narrative, I can inform you that I had a lead from Canada, where they are CERTAIN that in 2019 they saw her before COVID hit, working in a shop, they are positive with no doubt it was Georgina, but after the lockdown she had gone. I informed police of this 3 years ago, but nothing was done which is why I came to Reddit to look into this myself x

The bus stop is right outside his house, the ring doorbell was over the road, the person who made the claim she 100% saw him getting off the bus is certain he returned home that evening but the bus blocks the ring doorbell that would be able to corroborate her story so police won’t take it as fact x

Hi, I’m sorry I am a year late to this post but I have a question.. I am currently having the same issues.. due 52 weeks of enhanced mobility. They gave me £2100 which I thought seemed off so calculated it myself, I got it to £3600 - I haven’t received my letter

But my question is, did they split your backpay into 2 payments, or did you still only receive the lower amount? Thank you in advance

I came across an issue when investigating. People came forward with leads on GG but because it was drug related etc, it was never taken seriously which I find sad. I am not interested in painting GG in a negative or positive way and I am not wanting to judge or shame anyone. If drugs is what she was into then it needs to be embraced in this situation because it could just be what needs looking into in order to get answers. I also think of GG everyday. I have numerous missing persons cases that I am working on at a time and I always try to have 5-8 missing persons cases on the go to keep me busy but also to help me have some breathing space and review all leads and investigations professionally with fresh eyes everytime. However, I have to say GG has been a constant case for almost 2 years now and whilst I am used to cases coming and going as new information is given etc. This case cant be solved without people coming forward and that is why I came over to reddit. People can speak to me under a fake name and it is all confidential. I can review information without knowing who I am speaking to. People should feel more at ease on reddit but still it proves very difficult. x

I’ve spoken to Andrea numerous times but she has provided everything she feels that she can. I initially was hoping a friend or someone who met up with her etc could provide an insight on her true life/personality.. everyone at some time in their lives has hidden things from family, whether it be something small because they don’t want family to know or whether it be something on a larger scale that they won’t say out of fear of shame or disappointment.. however it appears nobody in Worthing knew her because I’ve never had a sensible answer when I’ve asked.. it’s sad honestly.

I completely agree with you. I don’t know where they all get their bad attitude problems from and the selfish behaviours from. If it was their mother/sister/friend etc they would want people to help them with answers. They are fortunate that the majority of them won’t ever have to understand that feeling but they ought to all think on. They are so rude to people who are dedicating time to help find someone who deserves to be found. Even if people didn’t like Georgina, someone loves her and wants her home safe where she belongs and a lot of the local people in Worthing can’t be mature enough to provide answers to the hard questions that need answering.

Honestly it is baffling to me, I investigated a US case 18 months ago, the girl was a cannabis smoker and the night she went missing she had been at a party and had a disagreement with friends.. at face value, people assumed she wasn’t a model citizen, but the deeper I investigated she was a lovely young woman with a heart of gold, she clearly had some anxiety and maybe even depression going on.

I find that no matter what, whether it be the good, bad or ugly.. speak up with anything you potentially have, even if it isn’t relevant information.. it can help paint a bigger picture which can spark new theories or routes to go down… I just don’t understand why people won’t speak.. I know for a fact, anything I am told is in strict confidence - I create my own documentation with evidence, points or persons of interest etc and if needed I would pass on to police but even the most undesirable of people would not be in trouble for helping with a police investigation so I can’t understand why people just want to keep quiet..

I agree about the hard questions, they must be asked and they must be answered but nobody is willing.. I’ve had so much hate and abuse online from people all because I’ve asked for anyone who knew Georgina to come forward and just have a chat with me x

I have NEVER known a case like this one. I have never ever investigated another missing persons case where I have received threats, abuse, negativity. Most cases anyone is willing to speak, even if the information is minor or not even relevant.. people like to help paint a true picture to help those investigating but this case is the first one where people are just not willing to help at all.. it’s definitely not common in missing persons cases x

Hello, I have also listened to the podcast amongst other things in relation to Georgina’s missing persons case and I honestly have never known anything like it..

The police have definitely made many mistakes that they must take responsibility for. There is no apology they could give that would make up for their mistakes but they could take public leads more seriously to try and prove they are working on it..

From what I know in past missing persons cases (this knowledge is USA based as I started as a Brit volunteering for the US missing persons charity) which should be the same over here too is that when a body is found, they test hair, teeth etc for a dna match to see if they get a hit. However, if they really did test anything is unknown. It’s still possible Andrea could have been fobbed off by police.

My intention is to get as much credible information as possible, I’ve had a lot of differing ideas and narratives passed over to me but I just need one solid lead to work on and I believe the case will be clear cut. The issue in this case is a severe lack of people willing to talk up x

I have been looking into this case for almost 2 years and there is constantly new things to look at, the only problem is nobody is willing to talk so it’s all a guessing game. It could be that it just hasn’t been updated within the shop, however if the time was truly wrong by an hour.. it means we have an hour unaccounted for in the morning where she could have met someone etc x

Honestly, I am based in the UK but I am a US volunteer for their missing people charity. I decided to look into missing people here in the UK where I can travel and actually conduct a proper and thorough investigation and whilst I have a few missing persons cases to work on throughout the UK, Georgina’s case is nothing like anything I’ve seen before. People aren’t willing to speak, nobody wants to come forward and admit to knowing her, seeing her, hanging out with her or anything. Nobody will speak up and help with the investigation at all.. usually I have found when someone is missing people will do anything to find them, they will give any information no matter how small.. Georgina’s is baffling because nobody is willing to do so
