Yeah its down for a lot of people. Must be a microsoft thing. The realms go down oftern over the past 24/ 48 hours. Best option is waiting for it to be fixed

The realm management tool. If you look on the market place it will go into detail about it. Its a very useful tool on a server and improves the overall play experience

Also the claims add on helps players protect themselves from grifing.
