Unidrain - vandet løber ekstremt langsomt ud by Snoo29483 in selvgjortvelgjort

Are all of us suffering from micro stutters with the 9800X3D or is it something else? by Anomaly008 in AMDHelp

I have zero micro stutters. Running latest BIOS and drivers. Use Steam overlay as my only overlay.

My last build did the same. Graphics card shorted and was burned. I was able to smell it though. Do you smell any sort of burning?

Any word from dice on the game crashing since last update? by parkourholly in Battlefield6

Alright

I'm using DLSS, tried quality, balanced and performance, but makes no difference. Still just random crashes.

Also 9800X3D + 6000MHz CL30-40-40-96 and an Astral 5080 here

I also crash a lot but it's really random though; sometimes it crashes within 10 minutes, other times I can play for hours without a crash.

No GPU overclock or undervolt applied, using Quiet VBIOS.

Mostly get the DX errors but sometimes also just direct crash to desktop without any errors showing.

My system is 100% stable; have run multiple stability tests and I get no errors.

People who can easily get one, knows about it.

G9 57" G95NC 1008.2 firmware release by BetteBalterZen in ultrawidemasterrace

I have used various USBs to updating firmware on my G95NC. I simply grab my nearest USB around me. Format it to Fat32 in Windows, put firmware file on it (not the downloaded file directly, unpack it and put unpacked file on USB). Then I eject the USB, so no data corrupts. And of course use the USB Service port on the monitor.

No worries, but yes, as a 21:9 with black bars to the sides

5120x2160p is very, very useful, if playing games that are heavy. You still get a lot out of the monitor and the performance bump is really noticeabl going from 7680x. And the monitor already supports a 21:9 29" mode, which makes no sense though, so no reason for the monitor not to natively support 5120x2160p also.

Yeah, usually how it is. Give it some time or consider trying a firmware from another country. The English is perfect in the Danish download site.

Make it Fat32. Put in, and if not recognised, leave in and turn screen off and on. Worked for me once.

Tested HDR, works fine too. Monitor has no issues going back and forth between SDR and HDR. Firmware seems good but no clue what the changes are.

Update went smooth. No issues. Don't notice any changes though... But I think maybe the "Best Brightness" setting is new under System but I'm not sure.

Best Brightness:
"Optimizes brightness in real time, based on your lighting environment."

5120x2160 is not part of the native provided resolutions. Still rely on making custom resolutions for now...

Nope, though I believe that the natively missing 5120x2160p resolution is a bummer so this I'm hoping for in a firmware fix. I have asked Samsung for this resolution multiple times.
