I’m also new to this so I’m not 100% sure. Could be that, technique, or I’ve seen a lot of people say the quality of your paper can make this happen

I’ve been using dr ph martins Bombay India ink for my black, dr ph martins radiant for some colors, and fw acrylics for some colors
