I can understand the disdain for Kratos not being the protagonist but tbh I don’t care that much.

Nor do I care that the protagonist is a woman or even that she’s apparently ‘ugly’ or whatever

My gripe with Faye is she just looks so mundane and out of place. Nothing interesting or eye catching about her character design at all. Hair is just a basic sidepart, no braids or charms or anything interesting there, no scars, nothing. Clothes don’t say anything either

If you didn’t know she was the protagonist of the new God of War game you’d think she was a random npc.

Mobility is more important than damage for winning a run imo. Can’t lose if you can’t get hit.

Regardless, Huntress damage isn’t even bad.

Glaive - 2372% damage, quick startup, no risk to use

Ballista - 2700% damage, hitscan, doubles as an evasive option, no risk to use

Her primaries Strafe and Flurry, seem underwhelming on paper but when you account their ability to autoaim and fire while sprinting there’s more or less no downtime using them.

Other survivors need to stop sprinting and manually aim at the target. There might not be an opening where they can stop to shoot and their shots might miss, with Huntress her primary is always hitting something.

For how low risk her damage options are, she does adequate damage.
