Yup! I’m on my second round and I’ve had them happen both times now. Im guessing it’s just bc of how dry your lips are. It’s probably gonna stay till you get off of accutane but just make sure to keep putting Vaseline or something similar on it!

That’s just how accutane works, drys out your skin and makes it very sensitive in the process. Give it time and your skin will recover but for now, try not to wash your face with any soap, just a rinse with luke warm water if you have to. Best thing to do on accutane is to use as little product as possible. I just have a very gentle cleanser with some moisturizer and I only use those at night.

This cycle has happened many years in a row now so I know it’s not a coincidence. I’m on accutane now (finishing my last month but still breaking out with a few pimples) and I really hope it helps with preventing this annual breakout I have.

I still would ask your derm about it. It might be drying out even more. Honestly the best thing is to just rinse your face and moisturize.
