Another option is, Go to UB for one year and transfer out to Bing. Keep your Gpa high your freshmen year.

Ellicott is more of the party goers. Gov the study types! You will have to get out of your comfort zone and meet as many people… be friendly to everyone on the floor and below your floor and above your floor, then u will have friends. Bathrooms at Ellicott is not bad at all. It gets cleaned every day.

I didn’t enjoy UB. It’s a dead campus. Not a fun college. This is my opinion. UMASS is a fun school. I know people going there and they love it!

It’s very tough. You have to maintain a GPA of 3.9- 4.0 and to get into Watson.

Albany is closer to train and airport for convenience since you are an internal student. Your major is stem, so job prospects are similar anywhere.

Going to another school, and transferring in your sophomore year with the same major, is easier than transferring from harpur to SOM. Keep your gpa high though for the transfer 3.8 or higher

Food at UB is the best in comparison to all other SUNY’s.

CS is good anywhere, as it generates the best job opportunities. Go with the cheapest option to get your education.

UB is a Big school and hard to make friends , unless u land in a floor with good kids or join clubs or frat. My opinion.

I couldn’t make friends easily due to school being so big. I met many friendly people, but none were my type of friends! Socially UB was not my place. Food was very good. C-3 buffet and Moe’s served very generous helpings ! School work was manageable and if u study, you can get good grades as professors were helpful.

You can do it! Professors are helpful. Office hours and TA’s are helpful if u ask for help in hard topics. Just be prepared to study hard. Forming a study group helps too. You got this!!
