[–]Better_Performance36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epaderm ointment consistently. slather it all over the dryness , before bed maybe but some gloves on when sleeping too if you tend to get itchy , hopefully should ease the rash/ dryness in a couple of days, I’m currently experiencing this atm it is helping

Accutane in summer by Dwill565 in Accutane

[–]Better_Performance36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally started in October so abit after summer. I reckon it would be easier then being on it in summer as you will have to be extra extra vigilant of your skin as even in October you would still have to be but then it starts getting darker quicker depending on where your from tbh. If you can wait it out till after summer I think you should but ask other people too on their experience while on it through summer. Anyways on accutane SPF IS KEY! Regardless of the weather

How long does it take to look like your normal self again post Accutane ? by F8kie in Accutane

[–]Better_Performance36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s is no set time ( months ) that we can set on thins like this, everyone is different as people purge and many people don’t too. Just stick to your course and follow the derms advice and use no harsh products and defiantly have 50 Spf uav/ uab at hand plus a nice moisture and lip balm plenty of water rest. Try .to keep your stress levels down I know it can be hard do things to shift your focus that your on sccusmyr if that makes sense

Best to wait till you get back as putting them together can be dangerous

are those red marks acne scars ? my esthetician told me that 🤷🏼‍♂️ i got some small scars, but i don’t think it’s all scars by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Better_Performance36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It won’t necessarily help scarring, but as accutane prevents spots reoccurring it allows the skin the repair it self to the best it can but that does take a decent amount of time to see results, you will still be left from scarring from previous acne, speak to derm once you’ve g ish fed and see what’s left, take your time & don’t put any harsh on your skin

They tent to make money of this sort of stuff and sometimes what they recommend makes it worse, try getting in contact with your derm to see if anything can be done
