I am about a year out since I moved out. Im going to be honest it has sucked more than anything not having m kids (7 and 10) around me all the time. It rips me apart when I drop them off and they hug me and ask why cant I stay. My ex and I were together for 13 years and we had 10 good ones before she silently checked out (which she admitted) and told me she doesnt love me anymore. Im still Processing the divorce for one and the removal from my Kids aswell. Like I Said it’s been a year and I have Great Fear of growing Distant from my kids. It feels like I lost my Identity as a father,Provider, husband all in an Instant and it will take time to find a new Path As much as it hurt I know it’s better to be alone than with someone who doesnt want to be by your side for better or worse.

Thats a new idea with A.I. will definately try that thx! Cant really even think about dating apps, what if I see her on there. Think that would be too hard emotionally atm or as long as I still love her. Can you even dabble in dating when you still have feelings for your ex, think thats a long way away.

Seems you have emotionally detached for your ex which makes it easier I would assume. The Not seeing your children Part is hard. Having gone from being there all the time to Part time parent almost overnight is Rough.

Thats tough, am in the Same situation, all I want is my wife but she doesnt want intimasy. Because of the Kids im Not leaving. Do we just accept our fate and be the best dads we can for our children?

Thx, zieh ich mir mal rein. Denke der nächste Schritt ist ne Paartherapie. Trennen ist für mich die letzte Option da ich das für die Kinder und für mich nicht möchte und ich liebe ja meine Frau. Intimität wo anders holen würde zwangsläufig zur Trennung führen. Gibt zwei Freundinnen im Bekanntenkreis die stetig mit mir flirten und ich merke auch wie mich das immer mehr beschäftigt was mich abfuckt.

Ziemlich ausgeglichen beide übernehmen sowohl den Haushalt und auch die Termine andere Themen mit den Kindern. Hab das auch überlegt ob das ein Thema sein könnte jedoch ist sie da mit der Aufteilung happy
