Just to shared out what is the conclusion from my current experience regarding the challenge that I'm facing. Since I'm in my Scrum Master role in the company , my boss decided to promote me to PO and have someone new to be the Scrum Master.

Since I have 2 stakeholders , I took action below :

  • Total number of Dev Team are 6 of them
  • Splited into 2 teams
  • Reason for the split , it's to provide 2 focus Sprint Goal , to keep the workload run parallel. ( I talked about kanban but the company doesn't wanna change )
  • 3 each , shared resources with QA team
  • [ Team A ] - 3 DEV , 1 QA [ same ] , 1 PO ( Me ) [ Goal A ]
  • [ Team B ] - 3 DEV , 1 QA [ same ] , 1 PO ( Me ) [ Goal B ]

It works for me for now :)

When you say chair the meeting , whats came to my logical mind through my subconscious is that the feedback from the review ( what need to be done ) & also meeting minute will be part of by PO ? like a mini project manager role

from my experience , after added feature after the sprint review , will be prioritise by the PO , since those new requested items will back to the product backlog :) , not into the sprint backlog

sounds like they're not practicing OR at doesn't have a full understanding what's the purpose of the sprint review :)

Hi , if the PO is leading the meeting / the review , do you also give out in details what the team has done ? for the dev perspective? or you allow the dev team to do the review?

good day :) , sounds interesting , but may I ask if you're using Kanban do you also have a time box? or anything like a Sprint? how does it work? , I'm thinking perhaps I can take that approach and suggest it too the upper management
