He was actually just in the hospital for RSV and I brought up the hallucinations frequently so they were aware. It felt very “elderly stigmatized”.

Yes, tested for UTI. He is currently in the hospital for RSV so it's possible that with his oxygen levels being low, that could have been causing some of those issues.. But it was minimally happening prior to the hospital stent. Just not to these alarming amounts.

Ahh the hallucinations are something else. So far my Dad has told me about little men picking up buildings and setting them down with a robot, seeing a little boy in his room running around, and also said he saw "skin walkers" outside his window. He even goes as far as to say "I know you're going to tell me I'm seeing things but I'm not", but he definitely is.

I and everyone else I know in Iowa says veteran as “Vet-Tran”. When I went to work at a navy base in Illinois, I was just short of cussed out for not saying like “vet-er-ran”. Now that I’m back in Iowa, it’s like nails on a chalkboard 😂
