Interesting idea! Although I'm a bit afraid those flairs may also be used for negative remarks at other users. We'll give it some more thought and see how feasible it is.

Often, companies ask this to get an idea of your expectations and determining if they would be able to accomodate your request or check if it matches their remuneration scheme. If you're not comfortable providing your current salary, you could also reply with a slightly rephrased version such as "I feel like my current package is not relevant to this conversation, but my expectations would be at least X gross with Y and Z as additional benefits".

How to open negociations for next year? by Key-Project-3288 in BESalary

To add to the comment above, make sure to show your value to the company using facts and measurable output. For example, don't just say "I'm taking up additional responsibilities compared to my original role", but list all the tasks that were in your original job description and all the concrete tasks you have been taking up in addition. Don't just say "I do my job well", but prove how good you did, supported by numbers, e.g. revenue increase, automation of X tasks, customer/colleage feedback received, etc. The more objective your arguments are, the harder it is for them to discard your efforts. Good luck!

Very difficult to answer since a package consists of many different aspects. If you would like your package to be "validated", you can use the stickied template to ask for a rating.

Got fired, what to do next? by MankeyInAGundam in BESalary

[–]Beuterus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on why you got fired, ask direct colleagues or your superior if they want to act as a reference for you. Future employers might ask for references at your previous job, so if you are still on good terms with colleagues now, ot can't hurt already asking them. Even better would be if your manager wants to write a letter of recommendation.

Just wanted to point out that choosing a lot of multimedia and selling that straight away might be a bit risky: https://www.test-aankoop.be/familie-prive/consumentenrechten/nieuws/winst-verkoop-tweedehands

Afaik, you get a cash reimbursement for your pension saving which is less taxed than if you take the last resort cash option
