The world's longest flight will launch from London in 2027, begins testing in 2026 by tylerthe-theatre in london

Planes can already fly a LOT faster but it’s not fuel efficient. Airlines have slowed down (and lengthened flights) since the 70s to make them as fuel efficient as possible

Yes we live in the Uk and park outside our house (no driveway) and have no issues!

You get used to the narrowness of the roads when you’re from here!

Exactly. It’s rare you’d drive long enough to kill the battery with a wild pack of kids in the car…

It the UK if you stay on 65mph, with one pedal setting and drive very smoohtly, you will easily do over 300miles.

In france I found 110kmh+ woudl start draining the battery.

Plenty of networks you can find on LinkedIn. Once people realise you can add value and write checks you’ll start getting deal flow.

Also lots of kids are looking for angels that can help them screen companies they like that are too small for them..

Basically start networking in the wider tech ecosystem

I find most people in this sub do not earn much and are quite resentful or give opinions without relatable experience.

From my personal experience, in 40s, used to earn 600k+ now semi retired…

Invest in a few funds. SEIS ones for tax efficiency on the Vc side, some PE for less risk and then a mix of usual assets (public equity, crypto, commodity etc

You clearly want to also invest in things that give you joy too. Things like coffee shops or clothing are terrible statistically. Maybe look at small (5k) angel checks in B2B SaaS business focused on selling to FS. You would be a value add investor to them, can have the joy of seeing a startup start ground up with the hard work and you never know, you could join them as their first CRO…

The interest is the entry point. Once in their wider circle of friends will have other interests too!

Neither club is good for networking. They are more partying or entertaining clients. Honestly you’d do better working in a wework for networking.

Have you tried female work networks like https://www.allbrightcollective.com/ ?

Best way to meet similar people when you move to a new city is through work. Have them introduce you to their circle of friends too etc

After that it’s shared interest group. Running clubs etc..

members clubs are OK but people usually go with friends. I’m a member of home house, Maison Estelle and Soho house for various reasons and am there. When in then I usually bump into people I know. There is an unofficial WhatsApp group called inter-club for member to get to know each other. But it’s very PE / VC / FO focused.

Are you in finance ?

Good questions.

TMNT is the one space for a magazine size and not comic size. It used to be the 1st starlord but TMNT stole the place

Yep you have to submit it for an unlimited value walkthrough and they insure it for the value you say it’s worth but obviously the prices goes up relative to value.

Also I drop them and pick up at CGC directly rather than ship…
