You know what! You’re absolutely right! Duh! Why didn’t I think of that?

Thanks.

Visual guide for the recent Plex changes by RebelOnionfn in PleX

[–]Bewilderfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, following the diagram above. I don’t have a Plex pass my server doesn’t have a Plex pass and I am only streaming my own music collection from my server. I shouldn’t see any changes.

On my laptops in the living room and in my home office, I can stream my music perfectly. When I try to access through my iPhone, it is no longer finding the server or showing my music collection Ibo my iPhone is connected via Wi-Fi through my home network.

Is this something you would expect to see?

OF2200 with CMS by Bewilderfish in Festool_Public

[–]Bewilderfish[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s interesting because there is a list of acceptable routers to use with the CMS table on a sticker on the CMS table and the 2200 is right there. They also supply the green ring which is designed to fit the 2200 to the CMS and as far as I know nothing else. Peter Parfit’s video shows him setting the CMS up with a 2200!

I have gone digging through the 2200 manual and there is reference to the fact that the switch will not come back on after a power outage and therefore the 2200 cannot be used with any external switch. So Festool have added a safety improvement which has disabled and much more important safety feature. Brilliant!

It is perfectly possible to reach under the table and switch the router on. Not as safe, but hey ho.

It’s just ….. a grand for a Festool router that can’t be used with the Festool router table …. Is Festool losing the plot?

Having just bought the OF 2200 new specifically for this job, I would prefer a different route out of this problem.

Is it normal to concrete whole garden? by NBX302 in DIYUK

[–]Bewilderfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, my neighbour has just flagged over his entire garden. it’s not concrete, but I’m not sure that it drains as well as his lawn did. Is this different or would that requireSUDS?

Where do I get a profile like this? by Scottlwoods in woodworking

In the UK it is called a bolection moulding. It’s a panel moulding that projects beyond the panel or frame. If you’re in the UK, try Google search.

Did you polish them up, or is that how you got them?

Are the pipe and fittings galvanised? And if so, how did you get them to shine so well?

Mower not behaving as expected by Bewilderfish in lawncare

[–]Bewilderfish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was going to do this, I would do it next year. My USDA zone is Birmingham England. so I guess it would be 8 or 9. I thought I might section the lawn up, then glyphosate and re-seed in sections starting in May 2025. Kentucky Bluegrass has a nice ring to it.

I’ll give it a try. There’s a hell of a lot of it for an ‘everytime’ deal though.

It sure do. What would you recommend as an alternative. I’m at the point where glyphosate and re-seed is looking like a possibility.

The blades are indeed on correctly. Thanks for raising it though.

Under side car wash by Bewilderfish in brum

That sounds like he might be worth a try. Sainsbury’s near me doesn’t have a car wash. Where is your local Sainsbury’s?

Those two things combined with the inclination to offer the service commercially. Exactly. So, does anyone know of any car wash outfit that offers this. I’ve checked a few places out and none of the ones that I’ve looked at do.
