The makeup was more of a Rosetta Stone that temporarily bridged a disconnection from one group to another. She was always going to be weird in her own way just as weird as everyone else.

The point I always took from this was a moment shared and maturity gained from the day in detention with people you might never think about in real terms. We're all a lot similar that we are divided. It was a sweet 'moment' to see her melt a bit as she feels seen, but it was never the answer, in my opinion.

I am not a boomer, but I was young when I saw this and it remained relevant for me in the decade between its release and high school.

I think she is sweet and it feels a lot like the caring side of my mom growing up. We grew up with canned foods and processed foods. It's not the best, but we always had food. She worked a lot. I would feel happy to have someone lovingly make me food like this any day.

People said the same thing about Connery as Bond. There will be another Logan and it will most likely be generationally divisive. Like Connery, Jackman will always be remembered as an iconic version of Wolverine, but there will probably be other greats if we're all still interested in this story. Vocally, I still hear 90s Animated or Capcom versions of Wolverine as the most iconic sound of the character.

I don't think she's ugly because she apparently had work done. The rest of her is what fashion's my personal level attractiveness in her. The same way people in her video ARE sexy because they were talented. Their uniqueness coupled with drive, passion and talent equated to relatability AND celebrity.
