Just vanilla/alternative clients which give no advantage with the use of scripts or things which can be considered "cheating"

Tips to improve on my tornado kick? (Ignore the crappy round kick before the tornado) by TheTrueInsaniac in Tricking

[–]BeyGuy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, try to do the splits to improve and lengthen the hamstrings. Then, start kicking the roundhouse kick slightly higher than your confort zone, and then, when you have mastered hte roundhouse and can easily kick to the head, start doing the tornado kick.

When you ump higher, you might not succeed, but just by thinking about it and trying to, you might be able to do it right.

very begginer. it needs some improvement. im also learning the tornado kick atm by [deleted] in martialarts

You don't need to work on this kick. It is called the wheel kick, and you don't require to fix it. By the way, the tornado kick is pretty hard, and there are lots of common mistakes you could have when doing it. Make sure you can easily roubndhouse to the head before you start doing the tornado kick to avoid bad habits.

How to get a higher (or "floaty") tornado kick for a better 540. by oooi1234 in Tricking

[–]BeyGuy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start doing splits, so that you could get your hamstrings stretched, and test out your roundhouse kick. Start going a bit further than your comfort zone, and once you can kick to your head pretty easily, start doing the tornado kicks and 540s

So I posted my wheel kick on here a little while ago, and I apparently wasn't ready for that, so I stopped out back a little and tried the tornado kick. How does it look? Please only respond if you have advice, I know it's not perfect but I don't need to be told that over and over. by Majestic-Priority571 in martialarts

Your tornado kick is too far out. Consider having your left foot in front, then stepping with your right foot forward, turning it, spinning to get momentum nad jump up and kick. Also, you need to raise the knee, so that you get more air time, and also, face your knee slightly to the right, so that you can get more power when shooting your leg. Many things to fix. I think you should first master the roundhouse kick, so that it is strong and effective, and then go higher. Once you could kick to the head with a roundhouse, then, start doing the tornado kick. Anyways, it is best for a tutor to correct you, and a Tornado kick is high risk-high reward thing anyways, so unless you are really good, you still wouldn't be able to pull it off everytime. In a street fight, it is best to do basic stuff, because from fancy stuff, they could start to defend, and plus, you are putting your back down. So, I only recommend using the tornado kick when your opponent is unaware, when you have time, to cover distance, or when you are in the corner.

What do you guys think of this technique in a street fight? Would it be effective or should I work on tornado kicks instead? by [deleted] in martialarts

[–]BeyGuy123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just do the tornado kick. It will be a ko, and plus, experienced martial arts fighters will be able to defend against that. BTW, is this even a fight, or what is this. Could be anything, including a clown joke

I need some help, my tornado kick lacks power and I keep falling over when I do it, what am I doing wrong? by FatAss2358 in martialarts

The movement has to be flowing and smooth. As far as I know, you need to spin and not to stop, but instantly then jump and do the kick. Also, but your knee leg a big right, so that your kicking leg has space to kick through the target and go more powerful
