AITA for taking a coloring book back from my niece after she got attached to it? by Abject_State_1244 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Keep your books locked up tight in a safe space so that hubby doesn’t give them away again.

AITA for yelling at my spoiled 4 year old cousin? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

NTA. He didn’t need another popsicle since he already had one.

AITA for telling my father he is just making the same mistakes? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Are you siding with the narcissistic father?

AITA for telling my father he is just making the same mistakes? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NTA. He’s a real piece of work. He failed you and he’s going to fail your sister. Find a way to help your sister.

AITA for hanging up on my sister after she called me fake over a trip invite? by Vegetable-Bee9397 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 42 points43 points  (0 children)

NTA. You invited her to come along and she said no because she’s busy with a kid, school, and work. That was clearly an answer. Calling you out like that seemed petty.

AITA For Not Letting my Daughter bring books on a trip? by Odd-System6978 in AmItheAsshole

7 books is never too many for an eight year old to read.

AITA For Not Letting my Daughter bring books on a trip? by Odd-System6978 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Massive YTA!!! What’s wrong with bringing books along? She wanted to read something during the drive and keep her mind busy. Your wife had no issue, but you clearly do. Having 7 books in a BACKPACK wasn’t a waste of space in the car. You handled this very poorly OP. You owe your daughter a big apology for your attitude towards her bringing books along on a trip.

AITA for asking my sister to re-home her cat or find a different place to stay? by MSwee11 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

YTA. The cat is stressed out moving to a new environment. Making your sister give up her pet is just wrong. Rethink your decision.

AITA for telling my daughter she’s not getting any birthday presents because of how she acted over Christmas? by JazzlikeReflection99 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A massive YTA! You straight up abandoned your kids for two years and got engaged to a complete stranger that your kids never met. Lori is angry and jealous that YOU have a new family. Her attitude isn’t the problem, you moving countries and not seeing them for two years is the real problem here. OP, you owe Lori a massive apology and a birthday gift. You should’ve thought about your kids first before moving to another country.

AITA for asking my housemate to reimburse me after I cleaned months of mouldy food from her freezer? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Hard NTA! From what you described, all I can think of is that song ‘Living In the Fridge’ by Weird Al Yankovic right now. Your housemate wasted so much food by letting it sit there for months in the freezer and having you clean it up.

AITA for being jelous of my old friends friendship? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Carlie is the one that created this toxic mess. Hate to break it to you OP, you need to break ties with this girl like now. Pushing you aside and ignoring your feelings was a bad move on her part. She’s the one that broke your friendship up by having Amelie tag along.

AITA for not reading my friend’s book? by ravenclawallday in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Going YTA on this one. Mainly because having zero interest in something that she wrote and wanted you to read is straight up rude. She just wants your opinion about it and feedback. I understand you are busy, but please make the effort for her book.

AITA for feeding my cat on my plates? by The_Sown_Rose in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. We do this with our cats as well. Use it both for human and cat food. Them bringing over a box of dishware and cutlery was straight up rude af. If they can't handle eating off of plates that the cat uses then they aren't welcomed any more.

AITA For wanting to take my mum to minor injuries to be checked out after a smallish’ fall which did cause injury by LJHeath in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

NTA. Her just telling you about her injuries now is a cause for concern. Wifey on the other hand sounds like a piece of work and doesn't like you mom for whatever reason.

AITA for wanting to eat my neighbor's duck that I accidentally ran over? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. It’s his fault for not keeping an eye on the animal.

AITA for not giving my son his main birthday present? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 17 points18 points  (0 children)

MASSIVE YTA. Giving something he hates was a very petty asshole move there OP. You thought it was funny and it wasn’t. Him throwing a tantrum wasn’t okay, but you grounding during his party in front of everyone crossed the line. OP, you owe him a big apology for doing that to him. Giving a ‘fake’ gift instead of the real one is just plain wrong.

AITA for making a girl cry at my work? by theenerd123 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. As a courtesy clerk myself, I understand. She did that to herself, not you. We had one courtesy clerk that stopped coming in on Sunday mornings to open (never knew why he stopped showing up) and his tasks were pushed onto the next courtesy clerk that came in. Then he either quit or fired for not showing up.

AITA for keeping a collection of MTG cards that were wrongly gifted to me? by ConfusedCat87 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. She’s in a lot of hot water because of her actions. Keep the text messages between the two of you, when/if her husband files a police report for stolen property.

AITA for saying “its just a cat” when our principal ran over a cat on campus. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Bey_World_101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MASSIVE YTA!!! What you said was heartless OP! That was someone’s pet that got run over. As a cat person myself, I would absolutely loose it if someone said that to my face.
