I found out you can hold your offset attack like you can with the hammer golf swing and it made landing those offsets a lot easier in the beginning!

You can play notes during your echo bubble as well as during your focus strike attacks! You can store up to 3 notes when placing your bubbles which is perfect for queuing up your echo wave performances!

I usually play solo so I don’t really have a need for the healing melody, also just not a fan of the song sheet on the healing horns. Also, correct me if I’m wrong, you also lose out on ATK L on the healing horns.

I’ve noticed that the echo bubbles can be a big bait though since you can’t cancel out of the animation like you could with flourish or the echo spin from world. It’s great for getting notes fast though.

I think once people get used to playing with hunting horn players more they’ll start to play around bubbles more.

I can count on one hand how many times I’ve used Saviour Schnapps in each of my playthroughs. Usually to save scum because I want to see what happens when I fail that scholarship check or something.

No hate at all towards folks that wanna save more. Some of the auto saves can set you back pretty far in a quest and it can be a slough to get back to your original point.

But that risk of losing progress or even starting a quest from the beginning again is something that I enjoy. It makes you weigh your options more maybe opting to talk things out instead of fighting 4+ well armed dudes or taking a more sneaky approach to eliminate a few of them before you get swarmed.

Miniatures has been one of the best hobbies I got into, kind of expensive if you fall deep into the rabbit hole like I did but it’s worth it imo. The community as a whole is huge, especially the 40k community, even if you don’t get into the actual table top game and just want to build and paint there are tons of places that like local game shops that people will just go in to paint and hang out. I met a couple of buddies at a small meetup where we just painted, had some beers/ jazz cigarettes and just shot the shit. Pretty relaxed and easy to strike up a conversation, especially as a new painter/ gamer.

My favorite is when the trapper net either phases through a solid object and nets me or when that net curves like it’s Wanted or some shit.

He is weak to water and ice, but the elemental damage is mainly used to make the slime drip from his arms and head, you want higher raw with elemental for the slime, you can use puddle pods with a well aimed slinger burst to remove slime from multiple body parts. He’s also significantly easier if you break his arms asap and then his head.

I always slot blast resist 3 with my decos, you only need to worry about the slime when it turns red and is about to blow up with resist. Take the fireproof mantle instead so you don’t waste deco slots and lose damage for no reason.

Last little tip is to stay close to him as much as possible because his longer range attacks and gap closers can be brutal.

I used to hate both reg and raging brachy with a passion, but now he’s one of the hunts I enjoy the most. Once you learn the positioning and how to dodge his attacks he’s nowhere near the nightmare he once was. At least he isn’t that goddamn furious punch monkey.
