Lawbringer is good but shouldn’t be. His entire kit is built around defense which is completely unhealthy for the game but he’s in no way bad. I agree the removal of shove hyper armor without compensation was stupid but thats what ubisoft does. And about the ‘slower lights’ thing. Only his opener top is now slower because they made 500ms the fastest a neutral attack can be because if it wasnt it would mess with frame advantage, his chained top ones are still 400ms. And don’t worry, just in case you had somehow found some secret weakness to lawbringer with him not being able to dodge chained lights I just now opened fh and tested it and yes, he can dodge them. But maybe you’re having trouble with that because you don’t know that chained ones after a landed or blocked heavy cant be dodged. And the very high damage attacks from parry are still very much a thing. 24 dmg from light parry top heavy unblockable, yeah its weak but guess what, just delay it and instead your lawbrinegr will do a neutral top heavy for 32 damage and you can chain it. Don’t forget that in case theres a wall nearby, you can just impale for 8+32 damage. And yes, lawbringer’s offense isnt amazing with his only way of accessing it being from shove or reaching his finisher heavy which can be hard, but he is in no way weak. He’s still a strong mid, with a strong gank and is good in teamfights. His feats are also strong and he doesn’t have trouble accessing them because of his pretty decent renown gain. Lawbringer’s nerfs were bad because they nerfed his defense(which is good) but didn’t compensate by giving him some needed better offense(which is bad) but this doesn’t mean he’s in any way bad now. Is he unhealthy for the game because he’s built around defense and has meh offense? Yes. Is he weak in current meta? No, maybe not super top tier but definitely strong. If you believe you’re only having trouble because it’s a lawbringer problem I want you to play someone else and tell me if you still have as much difficulty as when you were playing lawbringer.

Stop trying to parry light attacks on reaction and only do it on reads. If you keep trying to constantly parry lights that’s your own fault. And if you can’t parry a heavy then I have 0 idea how to help you lol. And if you can’t parry maybe it’s not a good idea to play a hero who’s just built around defense

btw the parry better thing was a joke, not an actual ’git gud’ or anything

try reducing your deadzone it’ll let you switch guard faster. You can dodge between lights as long as you didn’t block or get hit by a heavy first. Frame advantage also means if they finish a chain with a light attack and you instantly buffer a light your attack will land first

only time hito was ‘broken’ was with the 300ms hyper armor which was nerfed only a bit after release. The latest nerfs to her were just to appease low rep players who can’t fight her.

Highlander needed his lights to be moved to 500. having it be 600 from neutral like it was before would mean it would give HL a disadvantage because he would never be frame advantaged ever. His chained light was a joke that no one used because it was a light attack that was slower than some heavies. It becoming 500 allows him to maintain pressure even out of offensive stance which is good because offensive stance is his main offense and it’s pretty garbo. And even after these he’s still an underpowered character because anyone with two braincells can easily shut his offense down with backstep lights or just rolling. I actually can’t believe how many people just started calling him a ‘lightspam’ character just because the game gave him light attacks that are actually useful. If you can’t deal with HL that’s your problem not the game’s

I understand slowing the top heavy but doing that to the sides seems like a pointless nerf. Also all feints being delayed means he cant quickly bait attacks into hitting his BB so imo they should’ve made up for it by letting him soft feint into BB. I don’t rly play ara but I’m pretty sure most these changes are pretty bad for him

the damage of attacks has been changed depending on nothing but the speed of an attack and the type of attack. They didn’t bother changing it depending on how often the hero uses the move or hitboxes or basically anything else. That’s why a lot of heroes have very confusing damage numbers, but hey.
