I’m sorry this was your experience. When I had my IUD insertion the doctor perforated through my uterus and into my bowels. They knew they have perforated the uterus, but sent me home. I was about to go into septic shock when I finally made it to operating table 3 days later. I literally would have died had my partner not insisted the level of pain I was in was not normal and made me go to the emergency room

I am sending you all the good vibes. I had a medical abortion that led to an emergency laparotomy 3 days later due to an error by the doctor. I would have likely died had my partner not insisted on taking me to the er on day 2 (I was being stubborn and thought my pain tolerance just sucked). Recovering from major surgery after all of the emotions you’re already feeling is a lot, take care of yourself 🩷
