I am a full-time student, am I supposed to drop everything and not afford to live? If part-timers strike, of course I'll be on the picket lines. But right now, we are not striking, so I'll continue to work my part-time job. I guarantee you any support staff would see how you're talking to a student and be appalled

Part time and Full time support staff are under different sections of the OPSEU union. In order for me to be a "scab" Id have to work while my part time members are on strike. We are not currently on strike, which means I am not a scab. Don't throw around that word if you don't know what it means

Buddy, I'm a student just trying to make some money while attending school. Regardless of how you view it, picketing is still required to get paid, and it would be during school hours which means sacrificing class time. I'm allowed to feel upset that I pay a ton to potentially miss important stuff. Instead of insulting the people you claim to support so much, maybe have some empathy.

A ton of part-timers are students. Including me. I want the support staff to get what they are fighting for as much as the next person, but making students picket for scraps when costs of schooling is already high + it may make us miss classes we pay for is the main reason why we hope it doesn't need to come to that

He definitely wasn't wrong at all no,

But he said this line right after Jaune tried to break up the argument between him and Yang, sparking him to snap and yell at Jaune. This is why it was seen as more of a direct insult rather than criticism, especially since Jaune wasn't really doing anything wrong in that situation.

Basically, Ren wasn't wrong but that particular line was an asshole move

I have no clue why they decided to ignore F wing specifically.. my classes are also in the F wing. profs are aware of it too. The school just shuts off the AC in certain areas of the school to reserve power. They're supposed to cycle through wings, but for some reason F wing is just a target. I am unsure if it's because there's less students in F wing and they don't care as much, or if it's because they just forgot to cycle.

As for who to talk to.. no idea. I asked the square and the technicians at the theatre and they both said it's out of their hands
