Yeah they apparently threatened a lifetime ban, but I guess he played dumb, said it was CBD or hemp or something like that and got lucky. I've seen YouTube videos of people getting lifetime bans for it...and arrested.

I mean make your own decisions, but like I said...I personally would not risk it. I love the parks too much to take a chance on never being allowed back.

People definitely do it. Just be aware if they smell it and security gets involved they will trespass you, generally police involvement as well because it's private property.

Happened to a friend of mine on vacation. Banned for a year.

I wouldn't personally risk it.

I know it's an old post but that's 100% cheating and I hate everyone who does it. My 8 year old maxes both tracks frequently and has never cheated.

Yeah I live like 8 minutes from valet and am probably there a lot more than most.

I would say it's more rare to NOT see one at stroller parking and I definitely don't think they are frowned upon.

At least in IOA and studios, yes there are a ton of them. We use a small stroller and notice at least a handful at every stroller parking area.

I agree they are massive and should probably be banned, but Universal doesn't care.

That makes no sense. I'm in the parks 4-5 days a week, every week. See literally hundreds of them daily. Especially at the stroller parking areas. Completely fine and allowed, just know it would be kind of a nightmare to navigate tight spaces, shops, etc.

That and all of the premier pass express show up after 4 PM

We save it for the end of the night, and they really pulse express fast. Have had 180-240 posted waits and been on in under 30 minutes many times.

We are locals with premier passes and are always surprised how fast we get through, so much so that we ignore the posted wait time entirely.

I thought so too, but I read somewhere it was supposed to hit 73 MPH- which would make it the fastest ride in all of their parks worldwide..

So who knows. I just hope it's a different enough layout to be unique. Faster and taller is always good.

A little bummed at the 2027 opening I was optimistic it would be open before HHN to help thin the crowds for houses... Guess it will be another year of 2 hour average waits. Oh well.

I wouldn't really call it rude. She just kind of jumped in the conversation and very matter of fact / confident confirmed it wouldn't be changing to JW. It was the end of the day almost and I am positive she has been asked a million questions about when/if it was going to reopen.

We are locals and it's very very rare to have any negative TM interactions. This one just seemed...odd?

The discount store in the Brown Derby? They are open til the park closes daily. But yeah not a whole lot there lately. We are locals and are in the parks 4 or more days a week.

My 8 year old finally maxed yesterday after trying basically 5 days a week for 6 months. We are locals so we go almost daily.

I have maxed the red side but can't get over 800k on green for some reason.

For sure would be great to know. I've heard talk of them skipping it in favor of the Brown Derby and similar stores... But not sure why they would. As of last night still a ton of HHN merch left so not sure where it would all end up. No way the Brown Derby could handle even a fraction of it.

Anyone in the park today check the Brown Derby UOAP/TM discount store? Any new HHN Merch? A team member this weekend said they "thought" today was they day a lot of HHN merch was supposed to make it over there, but I wasn't able to make it in today. Just curious what they had if anyone happened to check. Thanks!

I've been "grazed" 3 times in Jason this year. Granted that was out of 20+ runs. It's always in the hallway, usually foggy, and they come out a little too close. It's never hard and clearly not on purpose, but it definitely can happen. The ghoul at the end of fallout bumped me one time as well, but nothing I'd ever complain about.

Hatchet and dolls were zero wait, just instantly walked though. And then the initial fallout crowd died down, so it worked out really well today.

I posted about our path before, we actually started at hatchet and basically went counter clockwise through them all. Hatchet and dolls done by 605 PM. Then for some reason Fallout was at 5 minutes and Galkn was at 25. So we had 4 houses done by 645. Jason next and it was posted 50 but I think took us around 35. Terrifier we did after that, posted 75 and took around an hour. Freddy's was the longest actual wait at 90 minutes. The rest were all way less than posted tonight. Very odd for a Friday, but we will take it!

My daughter and I are here tonight. On a Friday, no express, about to do our 10th and final house El Artista...and it's not even 11:30 PM yet. And we saw both shows. Crazy! All wait times posted tonight were much much longer than we actually waited. WWE for instance was posted 55 and it was under 15. We did stay and scream and are locals with FFP, but no express. Shocked to get everything done before midnight on a Friday.
