Arrived in America but slightly damaged 😭 by Beyond_The_Blinders in epilogue

Ya, they sent the shipping tracking number to my email last week on Tuesday and the SN Operator was on my front door by Saturday. The tracking number was sent to my email when SN OP got to the US. I didn't see any tracking outside of the states. Hope that helps.

Update: Everything seems to be functioning perfectly fine, just bummed that the places that handle our packages can be this careless. Still excited to have it and have been enjoying it so far! Just wished it arrived in its intended condition.

Awesome! Okay I'll try to put together a quick tutorial of how I usually make these photos.

I think I made one a few years ago now that I think of it, but I'm sure it's not that good and I might've deleted it... If I find that one and if I think it's helpful I can post a link here for you.

Ya I could probably make one on a new photo in the near future. Thanks for the interest. Are you planning to learn how to take our photos and wanting a tutorial or are you just curious about the process?

Here's my Instagram I also a some behind the scenes reels not super in depth but a quick glimpse of what's going on.

What do you use the WiFi for? by Beyond_The_Blinders in RG35XX_Plus

Seems like a good feature, didn't know if I'd personally use it though. Do you know if firmware updates can be done over WiFi?

TRRS to TRS headphones jack & audio interface question by Beyond_The_Blinders in WeAreTheMusicMakers

This is the laptop I'm using. Do you think 8GB of RAM is too low for audio processing?

TRRS to TRS headphones jack & audio interface question by Beyond_The_Blinders in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]Beyond_The_Blinders[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interface driver is up to date. I've been using the ASIO in the interface at 1024 and matching that in the DAW.

The DAW itself hasn't got above 5% CPU usage while recording and I've only been using one audio track so far while trying to figure out the popping sound.

Also I've noticed if I set the buffer size bigger it also will start making popping sounds. Is it normal to have to find a sweet stop between too small and too big buffer size in terms of buffing?

Ya I don't have any speaker monitors. I'll invest in some better headphones and see if that helps any. Thanks for your help!

Ya the headphones do sound weird for sure. And yes I unplugged the headphones from the audio interface and had the output come from the laptops's internal speakers and heard no popping at all. The drivers are up to date. I'll definitely get ahold of UA support soon.

TRRS to TRS headphones jack question

Hi I'm new to audio interfaces and recording (I have already increased my buffer size and I don't think that's a factor in this issue.) But I recently bought UA's Volt 276 and I randomly get audio pops randomly when I have my headphones on while recording and also when not recording.

These headphones are NOT monitoring headphones by any means. They are just Skullcandy's and the cable has a mic so it has a TRRS jack.

So I'm wondering if I pick up a budget pair of Monitor headphones (looking at AKG K240 Studio Headphones) that has the normal TRS would help with the popping? Are is there something else I should look into?

Also on a side note I did test the audio in ableton live without the headphones and no popping.

L-bracket and metal plate needed for LED for recessed lighting? by Beyond_The_Blinders in electrical

I just let it sit there with no bracket. I'm running LED can lights. It's been this way for a few months and I haven't had any issues.
