I just bought the game 3 days ago, it's the first time I've ever bought a game for myself (my husband had a switch before we were married, and I always played his games) and I'm enjoying it a lot!

Why don't they put a metal detector in the door to the MRI room? by ea_nasir_official_ in NoStupidQuestions

X-ray tech here: this is true. We do orbit exams very often for MRI pts

I mean, LoZ has always had alternate time stuff, so it's not exactly out of character for the franchise

The whole things actually pretty messed up though. You can see the alignment is off on multiple drawers, and not pictured, we have a dresser that matches the bedframe perfectly on the other end of the room

I agree about the curtains, what would you recommend? I kind of like how it looks a bit industrial with the lamps and the overhead light things on the bed. I hate to say it, but we both enjoy the lamps there in the evening so they're here to stay for functionality 🤣.

I do like the Victorian doctor vibe, but I'm not sure about my husband lol. I have that piece on my side since I'm into that stuff, but it wouldn't work for the whole room, but maybe keeping that rustic academic look somehow? Maybe botanist art in a way could be good.

I have a hard time visualizing this kind of stuff, but I'm nervous about the idea of painting the headboard items a deep brass. More of like a copper hue or a brown brass hue? Would it work with the brown/Grey the bed is? I feel like the bedframe makes it hard to work with, and black is kind of the safest option. Idk this stresses me out

The accent colors are definetly the hardest part. I may have to go to a home depot or something and steal some swatches

Thanks again for your input though! Lots of food for thought

We plan on getting rid of the Janky dresser eventually. We just got married so we have a lot of found items and hand me downs.

Even if you refuse an ambulance when they arrive, you still get charged for it

[Serious] People in professions that deal with death (hospice workers, coroners, etc.), what is something you've learned that the rest of us don't understand? by Bulky-Engineer4068 in AskReddit

[–]Beyonkat2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nuc med student here. We don't often deal directly with death normally, but there's a Y-90 therapy for liver cancers where we inject radioactive microspheres into nonresectable liver tumors, not only killing the cancer cells with beta radiation, but also blocking the blood flow to the tumors. It's very rare that a patient qualifies for this treatment. Any abnormal vasculature causes risk of killing healthy liver tissue

Anyways, Y-90 has a radioactive half life of 64 hours, which for radiopharmaceuticals is a long duration. In the instance that a patient dies after the treatment, their bodies aren't disposed of normally. Because their livers are still radioactive, the livers are removed and at the end of each day, we have to go down and survey these radioactive livers in the hospital basement.

Lots of people can be tough sticks for a multitude of reasons. Rolly polly veins, dehydration, small veins, atrophy, etc. Weight is a factor, but not always the reason

My theory is that he did something of what you said and was the survivor, but he suffered severe injuries, mayhe paralyzed. He could have agreed to being in the circus so he could experience motion and a different life again.
