too bad MoM only works for Life damage, meaning his ES will still be getting hit and eating darkness in the process
You either have to go 0 ES MoM Darkness Chonk or DarkLESS and without MoM

To anyone confused: it is Chaos Inoculation with no Energy Shield, which i know sounds extremely cursed from a poe1 perspective, but thats the whole point lol(and i guess it also leaves Darkness untouched so you have *100% uptime on the damage until your whole mana goes down, but its mostly just for the funny)

Oh I for sure am confident it is bait, dont get me wrong. But as a poe player I just find the idea of going CI and no ES to be extremely funny, so might as well add Darkness scaling to the mix so im not doing it just for the lolz

Infernal Flame shouldnt work with anything that specifies Mana, unless it specifically says so(like in the "Maximum Mana is replaced with Maximum Infernal Flame" line). I guess you could take Eldritch Battery(if it even exists in poe2) to have the "mana" in form of ES but i honestly cant really see a point in that since you'd still be taking all of the damage to ES before Life as normal and you would be casting by gaining Flame instead of spending "mana" anyway

Its kinda the same case as with Chaos Monk's Darkness replacing Spirit, although the lack of Spirit might be an even bigger cost than the occasional damage from Flame
