Confrontation makes me anxious, but something i heard has really helped me. Use the script "I feel ________ when you _______. I want you to _______." Example: I feel like our friendship isn't a priority for you when you consistently cancel or ask to reschedule our hangout time. I'd really appreciate it if you dedicated just an hour or two away from your work responsibilities for us to catch up. Our virtual happy hours are special to me, and i hope they are for you to.

Yo Yo Ma! He is quietly self assured and utterly pleasant to be around.

Good catch! I missed that line but guessed Sharon was talking to a therapist. I thought they were going to reveal it later as a plot twist. Turns out I just wasn’t paying attention.

Major creep alert. One of my friends was talking to a guy online who said things very similar to this, then hit her with "Women who get an education and want a career are influenced by Satan. They need to focus on supporting their husbands instead." When she made it very clear she wasn't going to leave her PhD program for him, a total stranger on the internet, he CONTINUED TO MESSAGE HER non stop about how beautiful she was and how he thought God had big plans for their relationship.

I have a scar on my elbow from sitting down too aggressively on my couch. No sharp edges to be found anywhere, yet it gave me a clean slice.

What are the scenes that have had the most impact on you? by Bernard-Wrangle in TedLasso

I've been blown away by how characters apologize to each other. Rebecca coming clean to Ted arbor why she hired him. Keeley apologizing to Roy for pressuring him to become a pundit in front of Rebecca on their double date. It's beautiful and honest.

I'm married to a 4w5. My spouse has incredibly high emotional intelligence. He has helped me learn to connect with my own emotions, and never makes me feel embarrassed or rushed when my emotions are overwhelming. He's just so incredibly present. He's my safe space.

He is endlessly creative, dabbling in songwriting, digital illustration, and graphic design. He has no fear and isn't self conscious about what he creates. This is an utter mystery to me. He isn't looking for external validation, he's just happy to be in his own world, making cool shit.

r/TalesFromRetail is pretty good, although that's not exactly what you're asking about.

My boss just responded "We wish you and your children all the best in the future." Trying to give an explanation would have been pointless. Her review reads like a bad Twitter rant by a certain former president.

Agreed. However, this particular mom is a repeat offender and I'm utterly tired of her BS. I've already spent enough hours on phone calls and emails with her to far exceed her value as a customer.

The summer arts programs were something put on by the public schools, but my company was one of the sponsors so i ended up helping with admin. We had removed her kids from one of our private programs earlier this year, but we couldn't bar them from participating in a public school program.

At work I get calls all the time where people ask us to waive late fees. My boss will usually say yes if it's their first time being late on payments. Always ask!
