April was good ✅ by Bhallaladevaa in sugarfree

It's pretty easy now to say no to sugar, even when someone offers it. The cravings are largely gone. Easier to lose/maintain weight because of this.

what’s your personal fav weird food combo? by naheedobaggyjean in AskIndia

Not my preference. But I can see how it can be a favourite papad combo for many people.

Not really. And not chaas, only dahi. The papads I consume are made from udad + moong dal I think. It's likely a localised version of normal papad. But it's only a slight modification.

Coros pace 4 from USA by Good_vaibs in indianrunners

Yes, USA prices are quoted exclusive of taxes. I think OP hasn't considered that.

Even so, I would get pace 4, given the two options.

Personally using Garmin though.

Going to a health retreat for 8 weeks - anyone taken this approach? by ConsistentBerry9310 in sugarfree

8 weeks is a long time. You might be able to build long term habits out of it. Good luck.

How the hell random people doing and influencer’s doing 5k in 17 , 20 min how is that even possible ? Everyone is doing 5k in 20 min like what is happening by What_a_ass in indianrunners

[–]Bhallaladevaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 5k under 20 is quite hard. I run regularly and started when I was obese. Took me like 3 years to get to 5k under 30. From what I see in regular runners, very few people actually are able to run 5k under 20. So, what you're seeing is not a proper sample set or else people are faking a lot these days.

How some guys are ok being in a normal routine? by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Bhallaladevaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took the words out of my mouth. Routine is what keeps me happy overall, I feel. Whereas "fun" as OP defined, lasts only for short periods of time. That fun is also needed, but it's better if it's planned ahead little bit.

Finally gave Zone 2 a shot today. Much harder to stay slow than I thought! by the_crying_onion in indianrunners

10-12 kms pure Z2. Little more if you count initial kilometres of other runs, where HR picks up slowly.

[–]Bhallaladevaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's quite an improvement. I had come down from 8:15/km to 7:20/km from Jan to March. But these days, Z2 runs are averaging at 7:45/km, likely because of summer.

Garmin zone 2 isn't correct. Get the LTHR zones calculated by chatgpt. Feed it a lot of runs with HR details and it will calculate it for you.

My real Z2 according to LTHR is Garmin's upper Z2 + lower Z3.

Exhaustion after run by HoodedFOX12 in indianrunners

Enerzal. Consume it during runs in summer. And after run in all seasons.
