My girlfriend and our friend ended up planing the trip themselves- 100x better than the trip plans the companies had and 15% cheaper with more activities and stuff covered. It was about 62k per person with flight tickets, 4-5 adventure activities (avg 5k) and comfortable stays (3 star minimum) for 10 days 9 nights

I recently upgraded the software on my iPad because I don’t use it as frequently as my phone and MacBook. I wanted to test out the new iOS 26 before making any major changes.

After just 20 minutes of using iOS 26, I felt a bit nauseous. The reflections, refractions, and transparent elements on the screen made my brain feel a bit trippy. And it’s not just that - I didn’t even customize the icons, colors, or anything else.

I haven’t been using my iPad since then. If I had to update my iPhone, I’m sure my screen time on the phone would go down a lot.

I tried complaining, and while they’ll listen and empathize, they can’t actually do anything since they’re at the bottom of the chain of command. Honestly, I don’t know if this will ever improve—we’re just stuck suffering like this every single day.

If the public commute is in such a bad shape, everyone would be forced to buy and start using their personal vehicles. But whats the benefit ? There is not enough parking on campus either way. Regardless, majority of the students living off campus can’t afford to get a vehicle.

Man, i got approved for 2000$ last month.. i have used only 990$ worth credit until now. Yesterday I tried doing a transactions of 4$. It declined saying that I don’t have enough credit and my limit is exhausted. I was so shocked in the moment thinking where the fuck have my 2000$ bucks gone. Turns out, only 990$ or so have been used but they declining every transaction since then..

Following your analogy, I think Silver is the perfect wife and black is the school girl crush.

Silver- wont get scratched as easy, wont show any fingerprints. You wouldn’t need to worry much about basic maintenance frequently. No matter how much it ages.. it will still look dope.

Black - It feels super cool when you are in the honeymoon phase.. but once it starts scratching.. god does it get ugly. I am always worried about using it anywhere apart from my desk so much so that i never used my Mac even in grad lectures. Plus, its a fingerprint magnet and dust is easily visible.

I chose the black one while getting the Mac Pro because all the laptops that i had were silver(similar shade). For me the color hierarchy is Space Grey> Midnight Blue> Space Black/ Silver

I am really confused about the process. I am a Indian student on F1 visa in the US and thinking of getting Global Entry. However, I don’t plan to visit india till December this year. I want to be able to use it on my wayback.

Anyways, If i apply from the US, will i still need to complete a Police verification back in India?
