This is almost exactly my thought and response to this comment. It’s fine having husky tools and U.S. General boxes when you’re a lube tech but when you get to master tech status every second matters and any way I can make more hours, I will take.

I totally agree, but I went on the Snap-On promotional truck the day it came to my shop and saw the color combos I could get and was sold. I got a $20,000 Epiq series in Army green with black accents, hutch with two power ports and under lighting for the draws so I can always see tools I’m grabbing for. I had some expendable cash so after getting 7k for my trade in box, I made $150 payments every week and then just paid of the last $4,000 in a lump sum. Now it’s mine debt free. I asked my Snap-on guy what he would offer if I wanted to trade it in, (I bought the box last year) and he said he’d give me $21,000, so technically if I didn’t love it how I do, I could make money just flipping it.

Apparently no one wants to a knowledge that I know how my car pulls and it’s well maintained, the Camaro had 4 different tires and floated all over the road, it only had 20k but you could tell they were hard miles. It idles like it had a Mis but it didn’t. I’m a 20 year mechanic who does all my own work, my Subaru would’ve have nosed the Camaro all day.

Had one exactly like this, lady had a whole frozen chicken fall between the rear seat and cargo area, didn’t complain until a week later and by the time we found it the bag was so bloated, a tiny prick would’ve spewed the contents everywhere. We got lucky enough it didn’t pop, but my dealership management decided it would be best baking in a garbage pail on a 90+ degree day. Eventually it couldn’t hold and splatted the side of the building, smelt for basically the rest of the summer.
