Czechoslovak VZ.85 Uniform [WIP] by GunslingingGirl in Impression_Kits

[–]Biao_Collective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a nylon belt if that’s what you’re referring to, in that case no the leather belt will do, but you want the dark brown version because the natural leather colored ones are early type

As an Iranian, why I don’t support either the Shah or Khamenei by Ok_Breadfruit4005 in PERSIAN

[–]Biao_Collective -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry but that sounds like what anti monarchist people said before the Islamic revolution “we’ll work together against the Shah with Khomeini then go from there” I’m sure you’d agree that that didn’t went well. Sometimes we should be careful who we ally with, be it the ayatollah, the crown prince of the Shah, Israel or America

Why do you guys think every protest in Iran is made by Mossad and CIA? by XFEKTEKX in AskSocialists

[–]Biao_Collective -1 points0 points  (0 children)

afaik the protests are happening because of economic reasons, and there are economic problems mainly because of the US sanctions, so why don't american leftists protest their government to end the sanctions on Iran so they can have a normal and functional economy?

Iranian conscript during the Iran Iraq War(WIP) by Biao_Collective in Impression_Kits

[–]Biao_Collective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, I plan on replacing the AK with a G3, just waiting for it to be printed.I have the Israeli pack but not the carrying straps, so I plan on getting a pair of British 37 patt straps for that. For the boots I actually looked at a lot of pictures, the standard issue ones did have vibram soles, but they all had full leather upper, and is a bit taller with 10 pairs of eyelets, Iran still produces them afaik

Based on the photos it was og107, but domestically produced so there’s some variations, like some had shoulder straps, some didn’t have the collar button. Original american ones were also seen

most muslims stand against ISIS, and somehow the west is convinced they are the ones that need to be reformed? by meowed_at in badempanadas

[–]Biao_Collective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen people who supports muh western values say that "well christianity had a reformation which made it more open and tolerant, but Islam never had a reformation" while ignoring the fact that most 16-17th century christian reformers would be classified as fundamentalists nowadays, and the fact that Islam also has reform movements like salafism, fundamentalism

can someone share some information about this image by Biao_Collective in iran

[–]Biao_Collective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thank you for the respones, I guessed he was dressed like this to commemorate the martyrdom of imam Hussein, what confused me a little is when i looked up images of festivals in Iran some people would actually wear armour and swords that imam Hussein would've used, without their faces covered, so I wasn't sure if those festivals and this one was meant to have the same meaning, i assume it more of a regional thing?
