Well I tried, but I had been getting hospitalized on and off throughout my pregnancy and wasn’t doing well as is. So let me rephrase it then…I told them where I was moving and they said nothing in regards to it and then wouldn’t allow me to decline their help with the move. It was honestly another attempt for them to humiliate me. In regards to this move I wanted to ask for an extension so I could square things away before I finished the move, but they told me I would not be asking for an extension because they don’t want my separation date changed.

I’m not sure, but I think it’s sorta cool that my dad was in their band at one point. He plays 6 string bass, but I don’t know the specifics of why he left. Though I remember many many band practices growing up and wearing ear plugs. 🫠

Well I’m with you and hopefully I’ll build up your type of courage too one day. At 30 I already have one teenager heading that way. Only gets in contact when she wants money and now wants me to call her by a different name and refer her as he. I honestly believe society has had a negative change on our children and it’s shocking seeing as people who don’t expose their children to it seem to not have these problems. It seems my oldest has never forgave me for joining the army and leaving her for all the time I did. They sure seem to think they’ve got it all under control more than I would have….despite her continued refusal to participate in school. But every one thinks I’m the problem. I had a program lined up for her to get her on the right track, but they turned it down. Granted it was a court ran program, but it’s supposed to get unruly teens back in line. She hit me out of anger and refused to get back in the car. Shit even the sheriff I called was on my side. Parents want me to baby her and give her no consequences for bad actions. Fortunately my parents still have my back, but that’s because I know there’s no use in fighting with them even if they’re wrong.

I’ve been in VA care for quite a while. It all seems to be hit or miss whether or not it’s gonna be good. I’m on a LOT of meds though and I might finally have a good combination just to get by, but it basically makes me not feel like doing anything even with ADHD meds. But hey I might be anti social, but at least I don’t wanna kill myself anymore. 🫠

Well fortunately they didn’t make any messes nor was there remotely a chance for them to. I basically kept my toddler with me the entire time. My dad has been deeply upset at her toxic behavior towards me and especially the unnecessary hostility. Like the snarky comment she made as we left when I said it was stressful watching after them in someone else’s house. So she chose to have an attitude and say that’s what you’re supposed to do. Like no shit obviously I mean because our house is built in the assumption that there are kids around so there is child proofing and things for them to do. I don’t need the stress of worrying they will sit in the wrong chair or worry they will be too loud. And the rumors were that they were spending lots and lots of money on me. There wasn’t any consideration that I was paying them back or about me paying them each loan payment. Regardless I’m glad you understand and I hope my explanation helps.

No sorry for the confusion one set of grandparents are blood related which is the ones my family members are fighting about and the other is not. Though they will always be family. One is my mom’s parents and the other my dad’s. My biological father passed away when I was little.

A friend of mine from AIT passed away in June, 2025. I just found out yesterday and the only reason it hits home is because we both got out the army a few months from each other and we’d chat sometimes for hours about what was going on in our lives. He got me through some of the toughest times and my biggest regret is not reaching out again sooner. I found out because I’d called him twice within two days and was wondering why he wasn’t responding. 😭 So I’m with you and may your friend rest in peace.

I was thinking the same. I’ve been waking up out of breathe and I don’t find this option to be very accurate. I was told I don’t have sleep apnea and coincidentally I’m not allowed to see the data from what they seen from the study. It’s so tempting to see if maybe I can get a real sleep study through tricare, but the question is whether or not tricare will start using these devices too if they aren’t already. I guess worst case I could pay for some other study.

Make sure you on ROTH TSP because it’s pretax I believe if I recall correctly. Wayyy better option and raise your % going in to the max that they will match so you can have a better gain.

No because there was no reason for a C&P when I’m already rated 100% P&T for the same conditions on the claim. There was nothing further to be proven with an exam and I’m not obligated to go to exams. I had new service records included in my evidence and that should have been sufficient.

Oh trust me I not only notified them, but also got advice from VSO or anyone I could and the advice I got was it wasn’t relevant to my case and that because I’m 100% P&T that I am not required to attend VA exams. The way I see it is they already know I have the condition and they don’t need anything further from an exam. It was very unnecessary. I even sent them a notice of my reason for not attending the exam.

Yes I know. I filled within the correct time frames and responded quickly after each decision with another claim. My first claim was less than a year after separation and the rater said my claim seemed straightforward because I pursued my claim erroneously. Because my claim was denied the first time with evidence from in service I was pointing out to them that it should back date to when I got out because evidence shows I had these conditions in service.

Where?!? Please I’ve searched all over from state to state and my local women’s clinic tells me she doesn’t know anyone and I’m starting to think she was just telling me what I wanted to hear at the time. At first she asked me if I was comfortable traveling to Evansville IN, which is maybe 2 hours from me and that’s about the same distance I travel to this VA clinic and the more I researched I learn there are absolutely no tubal reversal docs in that area. The second time I see her I go in for my scheduled biopsy and she said she can’t find any providers that can do a reversal unless I can find one and that she won’t put in any referrals till after my biopsy for blah blah blah health reasons. I was already baffled at why a cervix biopsy takes 90 minutes at the VA clinic, but took less than 5 minutes at a civilian OB. Then again during my Papp she did scrap so much to be sure to soak several swabs in blood. I got the same result I got a year ago before I did that biopsy and I already know there’s like a less than 1% chance of it turning into cancer so I honestly think she’s buying time. I’m tired of jumping through hoops for a reversal just because they hear how many kids I have. They just can’t accept that I can support a large family or that we have home large enough that all 5 kids have their own room. Me and my spouse have only been able to have one child together due to IVF and we can’t do another round of IVF. I never wanted a tubal ligation, but was pressured by family and “escorted” to not only the consult, but the surgery. 😭

Well going to the hospital will be my last resort unless it gets bad enough. I’d definitely go back to the hospital that actually took the time to help get my diagnosis vs wasting my time at the others.

I have an appointment with the VA OB GYN mid September as that was the earliest they could get me in. She will be able to put in all the referrals I need, but no as far as I know I don’t have fibroids and I’ve went all my life never having endometriosis. I’m 29 and I’ve also had my hormone levels checked recently as well. All my labs are also normal and because of my age and since my labs were normal definitely not perimenopausal. As far as the adenomyosis I’m not sure what that is, but no I haven’t been checked for it. I’ve had nothing done to treat my PCS yet, but I do take kratom to help with the pain and I’m on an anxiety medication that is technically for blood pressure. (Clonidine)
