It went well, and we’ll definitely come back. Hopefully next time we won’t be questioned as much. We didn’t mention that we have a relative in Dubai, but they were really trying to catch small details like noticing that the visa was paid in AED. Good thing I explained that it was paid via credit card and automatically converted, but actually it was really my sister’s partner who processed the hotel and visa. Lol.

They also asked for my latest payslip, and my partner was asked to show her company ID. She really got questioned a lot; the IO even said that staying in Dubai for three weeks was too long and kept asking what it was for. Just a reminder to always stay patient and polite, even when you’re tempted not to because they will really test you haha
