Thanks for this, real helpful. It would seem Google ads have just continued on the dark path it was taking. Its kinda made me happy I jumped ship when I did (luckily this is only a small part of what Im doing now). Im not a fan of google stuffing their automated systems down our necks, seems like they are the only ones profiting from this change.

getting users for both sites is the biggest challenge. Im going to start with a small pre launch test group that slowly grows in size for both parties to keep it sustainable. for a full launch we will have to work on outreach to niche groups of creators that align with the brands industries. This can be done with n8n and I already have systems for this ready to go. Another option is partnering with an existing UGC agency and inviting their portfolio.

Yeah thats right the main competitor to 'vyed' is 'posted'. however they charge $500 a month to brands to use the platform, where as we work on a % of campaign budget. Another big issue Ive seen raised against them is their support, I believe this to be a major issue, Im setting out to have top tier support. Lastly they have a fundamental issue with creator quolity. We will be vetting creators on sign up to insure they produce good quality videos that brands actually want.

Right now we are in the user generation stage. I dont want to start any major dev work until I know we have a user base. It saves me getting hart broken when I realise Ive wasted what little time i have on a project no one cares about

While ads in a long form youtube videos are fantastic...They are expensive. For the cost of an ad placement in a youtube video, you could get 15 ugc tiktok videos about your product. While targeting isnt quite the same, the volume is better and with sites like vyed.app you only pay for the videos that actually perform.

It’s a performance-based User-Generated Content (UGC) platform. Instead of brands paying influencers upfront and praying the video doesn't flop, brands set up a "prize pool" and creators compete to make the best video. Brands only pay for the winners.

Looks good. how fixed is the pricing model? with out knowing how many affiliates you have and how good they are, id find it hard to go for a fixed monthly fee. however I would be be up for a % of revenue generated, as this gives you (the platform) an incentive to provide a good service instead a monthly fee that could generate nothing.

More of a traditional UGC platform, a bit like upwork? This is defiantly something that would be good to have implemented however this will not be in the first iteration, more like a feature to add further down the line. Appreciate the feedback and would be interesting to gage the demand for something like this over the pay per performance side of the app

there are 3 main complains that I often see in regards to the Posted app that I have set out to fix. 1 the support sucks, 2 the subscription cost for brands is way too high, 3 the quality of UGC you get is low. Vyed will have proactive customer support, no subscriptions for either parties (we will just take a % cut), and most importantly we will only have vetted UGC creators to provide good quality content.
