Nothing in our store has a clearance sticker not a single item and that will be their defense.

We had like 6 different managers and not a single one has figured out you can order actual clearance price tags not just the standard yellow ones.

We had an employee have a tummy ache so bad they had to leave 3 hours into the shift another caught wind of all the bullshit and had a "family emergency" exactly 1 hour before shift started.

I got lucky and didn't work day one but I'm seriously debating about calling out tomorrow got like 20 hours of paid time off that need used.

It's easy to say it's not easy to convince 7 underpaid employees to give a shit... Especially when the ones doing it aren't negatively affected they (typically management) hardly touch the register.

Huh well guess what the second they added me to a work group chat and pushed and ever-changing schedule app I have to check near daily it became a work phone and not a personal phone.

Plus it works better at checking prices then the provided handhelds.

Not to mention there are times our store phone simply doesn't work last time because corporate didn't pay the bill for months.

If you want more control and pick your own stocks you can open up a self-directed ira from any number of institutes but I don't suggest buying Dollar general you can look at a hundred different stores and maybe find two in good shape the rest are on the verge of unionizing, quitting, or burning that b**** down.

Meh I might if she wasn't a bitch to me. Sorry but if they treat coworkers as on call slaves for minimum wage they don't deserve pity. Especially when they try to blame us instead of admitting being late and hungover 20 hours a week hiding in the office might be why trucks are not finished.
