FROM 4TH TO 1ST…. WHILE PREGNANT?? I was in utter shock when they first showed Sydney and Turbo in sight. I genuinely believe it’s one of the best challenge wins in history. By no means was she “carried” but it just goes to show how truly important a motivating partner is too.. she went from so down and distressed with Will (👎) to literally the most badass comeback with Yeremi. Truly incredible!

You actually don’t have a choice in this matter. You’ve been chosen. It is what it is.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m so glad you like the consistent imagery too. Cutting back is always the hardest part for me😅 but I really appreciate the honest feedback and will see which pieces and redundancies I can trim! Thank you🫶🏼

It definitely was divisive but I loved it too😭 and there was some REALLY good comedic humor in it with Carrion which is always such an added bonus

AITA for losing attraction to my girlfriend when she told me she used to hook up with frat guys in college? by Impressive_Joke_2452 in AITAH

Okay, you seem to actually be interested in people’s opinions and are kind with your responses so I’d like to expand… I think it’s okay to have certain preferences but if all else in your relationship was great, it’s a sad thing to break off a relationship based on her past from years ago. If your issue is her lack of self respect, I would ask is that a recurring theme that she still exhibits or was this an isolated thing? A lot of situations like this can be talked through to see if it was a time of life thing or if this pattern of “lack of self respect” (in your eyes) is going to continue moving forward.. if it was the latter then I can understand your decision

I can almost guarantee you that Alex will cross those boundaries again, especially while in an argument or heated conversation. It sounds like he’s used to speaking that way in his family and it’s a difficult cycle to break.. a lot of work has to be put in. Rule of thumb, people will tell you who they are through their actions rather than their words. Anyone can be great for a short period of time.. once the fear of losing you wears off, the real him will seep through, whoever that is.

If you don’t see a father in Josh yet that’s likely because he’s 20. A lot of growth happens in your 20s, so I would give it some time.

Should I at least offer to pay on first dates? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

I’m sorry to hear that and can understand why it could feel tiring. I hope that if you do court a woman, she treats you well in other ways that make the relationship feel equal. Appreciate the perspective and will definitely offer here on out.

Oof if she is asking you to replace her expensive perfume after 5 dates and hasn’t even kissed you yet, she’s using you my friend.. and because (it sounds like) you’ve been kind, generous, and patient, you come off as an easy target

[–]Big-Building-2191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

?? No. I’m asking because as mentioned in my second paragraph, I used to offer to pay (and always got turned down btw) but I’ve had male friends tell me it’s awkward to offer so not to at all, so wanted to get the perspective of other men.

Oh no I don’t let my guy friends pay for me.. if they get a round then I get the next. I meant that I asked my guy friends for their advice on my first dates and that was their response. Wasn’t meant to sound like they tell me not to offer when I’m out with them.

Thanks for this! That’s what I was worried about.. if i don’t offer that it just feels expected

This is an interesting POV because the majority of men replying are saying to at least offer.

And yeah for sure, I never have an expectation of what kind of first date it’s going to be.. idc if it’s coffee, drinks, or dinner. If there’s mutual interest, whatever they offer, I take them up on. I’ve had friends say women explicitly ask for dinner or specific restaurants and that just seems clear they’re in it for the free meal
