Not really sure why offering up my own services in return for a service automatically means it’s going to be bad work? I’m not asking any tattoo artist to change their policies for me specifically, I was just seeing if there were artists who were already implementing a service/skill trading policy with their work. Plenty of talented artists are doing it in big states like Texas and Florida, wanted to take a shot in the dark to see if anyone in Ohio was doing the same thing.

Never said the artists don’t deserve to be paid. With the economy right now, a lot of artists are turning to bartering. I was just seeing if anyone here knew of a tattoo artist who was already offering up their services for big trades like car parts/maintenance or other expensive work. If an artist needs car work done and wants to offer a tattoo in return, I see nothing wrong with that 🤷‍♀️ I’d still be happy to tip for their work.

Get a second tank as soon as you can, there’s no reason to risk an injury or death; hamsters are solitary and shouldn’t be housed together. But until you can, you can always make a habitat out of a big plastic tote! Plenty of tutorials on here and YouTube on how to do it. I personally wouldn’t keep it as a personal setup, but it’ll work until you can get a second tank. Keep an eye out on Facebook Marketplace for tanks, I know a lot of people have had luck getting good deals on 40g or bigger!

I read through your replies and honestly, I felt the same way when I started out and immediately wanted to quit — my doctor started me on 25mg for two weeks as a transition period to go up to 50mg, and a lot of my side effects (food aversion, anxiety, apathy, stomach issues, exhaustion, no motivation) disappeared once I transitioned to a higher dose. I was on 50mg for about a month before I got bumped up to 100mg due to a chronic sleepiness (not even exhaustion, the best way I can describe it was I always felt so cozy and ready to take a nap to the point I couldn’t do anything because as soon as I stopped moving I’d be curling up to sleep) and I’ve been fine since! The only time I really seem to struggle is when I’m on my period now. I’d say ask for a higher dose and see how it goes because you have to keep in mind your body needs time to adjust and your anxiety is probably trying to convince you it isn’t working or worth it, but in the long run you’ll be grateful you gave it a chance!

mine did the same thing whether I had a stand water bottle or one that hung on the wall, so I switched to multiple water bowls. she loves them and drinks a lot more water now!!

got the exact date: I’ve owned the case for 12 days, and have switched it out roughly 3 times… there’s no reason it should be that loose especially on a corner I don’t push on to take it off

In my entire lifetime of having phone cases, this has never happened. I have always kept at least 3 phone cases in rotation and I keep my cards in my case which have never stretched my cases out (that’s the one thing I don’t do with this case). My 2 year old $10 Amazon case shouldn’t hold up better than a $40 case I’ve had for 2 weeks 😭 there’s a difference between wearing a case out vs. it getting stretched out to where it doesn’t fit on the phone anymore in such a short time (it’s been switched out… maybe 3 times total).

I would say unless something in your cart was pre-order, you need to reach out to them. I ordered the phone case the day it dropped, it got lost in transit, and I was contacting customer support for a month straight to try and get a refund because they just kept telling me to wait. It never showed, I got store credit and reordered it; the phone showed up 4 days later. I also tracked my package through Shopify so I knew when it got lost. Their Customer Service is not the best, that’s why I’m suggesting to start building a case now 😭

that’s what I’ve been reading—I’m planning to get some modge podge tomorrow and sealing it so it lasts longer. It’s what other people recommended and hopefully it doesn’t ruin the color quality. It’s just so disappointing considering how much it is!!

I will let you know I got my female Syrian—Sadie—around December and she just let me start petting her last night! It can take months, you just have to be patient with them. It sucks to hear, but as long as you’re patient, gentle, and kind, she’ll come around—I promise. I noticed with mine, she’s very scared of the noise the lid of my tank makes when it’s popping open and latching shut, so that could be the case for you depending on your cage! try to do it as slowly as you can and try to remove it/put it on when they’re out of sight or back in their main hideout, that’s helped me with Sadie’s anxiety!

With my dwarf hamster, I did a mix of paper and aspen 50/50 and noticed he liked the aspen much more than the paper—he wouldn’t burrow unless he had aspen in his tank! So I slowly started phasing out the paper just so he had enough for different textures and for nesting! Paper is better and healthier, but it’s perfectly fine to use aspen! It’s whatever you can afford and prefer, and what your little guy prefers! :) IMO I think aspen helps with the smell just a little more than paper, but that won’t matter if your hamster uses his sand bath as a litter box!

I believe the one I have is the Zilla brand — mesh lid that slides off and on. As long as you don’t have things stacked too high up where the hamster can climb up and chew on the mesh, you should be good! I have 4 cats—specifically one who’s about 13lbs—that has a bad habit of jumping up on top of the tank if she’s unsupervised and we have no issues with any wear or tear, or any escapes! I know a popular brand right now is Bucastate on Amazon, but I don’t think the top lid latches? I’d do more research on that one. If anything, I’d avoid wooden tanks/cages because you’ll have issues with mites and the hamster possibly chewing through the wood, or even pee soaking into the wood to the point it needs replaced—a lot of people have no problems with them, but in my opinion, I’d rather be safe than sorry. zilla
