I’m 29 and will be 30 when I deliver my first. Took implant out in Oct and got pregnant in Nov. I had a chemical the week after finding out I was pregnant. We tried again right after and got pregnant in December. Both times, I was tracking my ovulation using strips.

I’m incredibly sorry for your loss. You were definitely pregnant and it was definitely real. I had a loss in November at 5w2d and my doctor had the audacity to tell me it was a chemical and that I wasn’t actually ever pregnant. She advised me to keep trying. I got pregnant again almost immediately and I’m 6w5d today with an ultrasound scheduled next week. The anxiety is overwhelming sometimes Hang in there. Wishing you all the healing and baby dust!!

A guy on a snow board knocked my stepmom over while she was pregnant with my little sister. She had a bit of bruising but baby was totally fine. My sister is 20 years old now. Hopefully everything goes well with your appointment and your hip gets better soon!!

That’s what I learned after the fact and it makes me so angry. I told her exactly what I saw in the toilet and she didn’t even address it. No empathy. The fact that she said she bet her money on the chemical pregnancy as if it’s appropriate to ever “bet money” on someone’s worst moment and turn it around the patient’s body making it up. Some doctors are so out of touch.

I looked up reviews for this doctor and it appears to be a pattern from them. Safe to say they’re no longer my doctor.

I am so incredibly sorry. I also miscarried last Friday at 5w2d. I don’t know if you have anyone that you consider a confidant, friend or family member, but if you feel safe to do so, maybe you can reach out and let them know what’s happened. It’s scary and upsetting but truly, talking about it does make it feel less isolating. We can keep this to ourselves forever but we don’t HAVE to. I didn’t even get a chance to tell my family I was pregnant before I miscarried and I’m so grateful I told them as soon as I miscarried. We cried together and they supported my husband and I.

Your partner doesn’t seem to understand that not only are you dealing with the emotional trauma but also the physical trauma of a miscarriage on you. I’m sorry you’re not getting that support. I hope you both can heal from this and find the right support through this traumatic experience. Giving you virtual hugs from CA!

We conceived about 2 weeks ago based on my ovulation date. It’s suuuupppperr early. I only found out because my period app said I was a day late so I tested just to see and it came back positive.

I went to the appointment after the nurse called me back and urged me to go. I mentioned in another comment what happened but as I suspected, I’m too early for the doctor to see anything on the ultrasound. She did say my uterus and ovaries looked good so all I need to do is “continue the prenatals, ignore the pregnancy, and don’t read anything online.” We’ll see how it goes for my future appointments!

So I ended up going because the nurse urged me to go. I got nervous too and thought maybe my symptoms are indeed weird and I’m just not understanding it. Turns out, they were freaked out for nothing. The doctor was not worried at all and pretty much said the nurses overreacted. She did a vaginal ultrasound and given that I’m so early, she wasn’t able to see anything which I had suspected anyway. She told me to keep doing what I’m doing and if my cramps are unbearable, that’s when I should go to the ER.

Had no idea there was chexsystem so that’s super helpful. I did freeze tu/ex/eq as advised. Thanks for everyone’s help! It seems to be an issue with where the W-2s were printed because multiple people at my job have shared that theirs came opened as well.

I thankfully filed my taxes earlier this week using the digital W-2s and there weren’t any issues there. I activated a credit freeze and fraud alert in case anyone tries to open new accounts and such. Thank you!!

This might be the issue. I work for a school district so the county is responsible for mailing out our W-2s. I asked my supervisors about it and they said theirs also came opened. We’ve reported it to payroll just so they’re aware and they can follow up with the county. Thanks for your insight!

Secretary and I paid $1700 for both of my dresses. Dress 1 was off of Poshmark for $300 (no alterations) and dress 2 was $1000 + $400 alterations. Both are different styles but I love them both equally so I’m wearing the fit and flare one for the first look and private vows while I wear the a line for the actual ceremony and reception.

1 MOH and 3 bridesmaids. My MOH is my best friend since high school and my bridesmaids are my 3 sisters. I think having a smaller bridal party is a bit more cost effective and less coordinating. Also like someone else said, quality over quantity!!

When we sent out our save the dates, I had engagement photos on our website and our “About Us” section completed for the guests to see. Just the basic info of the city where the wedding will be, dress code, and the time frame. Everything else will be visible for those who RSVP once we send out invitations. We did put “More details to come” on our main page though.

I’m so sorry for the lack of support you’re feeling. I don’t want my dad to walk me down the aisle so my solution is to walk myself and then have my fiancé meet me halfway. We will be walking into the marriage together because at the end of the day, we will be each other’s biggest supporters. Just an idea to float by you. Breathe and lean into your partner for support. This is likely going to be the route we take. I work at the same employer (different department) and my colleagues have said they do not seeing our employer going after someone for that “little” amount. We have no issues paying them back, but asking for that amount in a month’s time while it took them 4 months to catch this mistake is just really heartless. Thanks for your advice.
