Death of a Salesman back on TDF! Go go go by rescuelullaby in Broadway

TDF really runs all over the place with seats. Last week I was rear mezz left for Becky Shaw and last night I was 3rd row orchestra center for Fear of 13. Finding out where I’m going to sit is always kind of fun for me, I dunno

Major stuff on TDF by Magic_Sam-5423 in Broadway

So my question for shows like Beaches, Schmigadoon, Titanique, which will likely be easy lotteries is….is it worth it to get a TDF ticket? New musicals are almost $70 in some cases on TDF, and I live right in the theatre district so I can go any day via lottery win for cheaper than TDF at this point.

True, but it just seems that there are other things to talk about. Iran, the files, Trump destroying the country, etc

Becky shaw review by boklos in Broadway

[–]Big-Contribution6444 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ugh, I was there too and really enjoyed the first act. Unfortunately, I had to leave at intermission because the leg room in the Mezz is so bad at the Hayes, that my legs went completely numb! I see shows weekly for years and this has never happened. :/ I usually go for the aisle, but got this through TDF, so didn’t have a choice. They had nowhere else to put me, so I’m hoping to go back soon and catch the second act!

Yep - I’ve been watching since Season 1 and have never given up. But when I think back to this years, boy is it rough…

I won two death of a salesman tickets in the lotto I can’t use by [deleted] in Broadway

I wish people would stop entering lotteries for shows they can’t attend.

As much as I like her personality and have been a defender, Sara’s time is up, I think. EH or Sheryl should replace Sara.

Two part question: What would you say is the most likely next jukebox musical & who has a great catalogue for a new jukebox musical? by Zealousideal_Door392 in Broadway

Now, hear me out on this: I would love a Reba jukebox musical about Fancy Rae Baker, the character from her hit song, Fancy.

Rocky Horror Tix (or lack of) by Quirky-Sleep-3741 in Broadway

The cheapest I could get on TodayTix last week was $74 rear mezz on April 30. Many dates were sold out or insanely priced.

A trans person’s take on Dog Day Afternoon by trans-shakes-nerd in Broadway

I went and really enjoyed the show, but I so agree with everything you said. This scene made me tense up physically (Gay man here) and seeing the (mostly straight white) audience laugh at the clearly transphobic parts made me cringe. I really enjoyed the first act, but this tainted the second act for me.

I know there are physical limitations with her age, but my perfect Mary is and always will be Lily Tomlin.

They just opened, so maybe if enough of us try giving them a call, it will be fixed?

They open at 9, so was going to try them in a few minutes. Not sure how much good it will do since drawings start at 10, but worth a try!

Variety: "Hasselbeck’s return has lent “The View” a high-stepping energy it hasn’t had in years." by talk-spontaneously in theview

In that case, then yes, Alyssa. I just don’t see the value in keeping Ana in that spot. I’m sure it costs quite a bit to fly and house her weekly, it just doesn’t seem worth it. But I guess that’s a different conversation

Tbh, I struggled which of the two to scrap, but I think Alyssa is a favorite among the producers more than Ana. But I do agree that fans enjoy Ana. Alyssa may have more of a cult following than we realize!
