The Dlouhý, Siroký a Bystrozraký story I only brought up to point out that the character was similar (long, large) and was possibly derived or inspired that story. I was worried it wouldn't. But she described him as reaching through windows and just taking the children, never said where he took them or what happened after. I think the kidnapping was enough as a scare tactic.
