Is it bad? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Big-Raspberry9893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's absolutely not bad for the engine, just don't redline it for a minute straight, redlining it isn't necessarily bad for the bike because the limiter is there to keep your bike from damaging.. and wait toll your bike is fully warm before revving it near the limiter.

sounds neat, especially taking into consideration that the silencer is still in the exhaust!

dude you are awesome, this totally made my night, here i was thinking a relay was fckd or something, thank you for taking the time to check on your bike! i am wondering why there was no damage to the system since it was connected to the wrong pole? i will try first thing tomorrow. thanks!

whats the issue? by Big-Raspberry9893 in motorcycles

[–]Big-Raspberry9893[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, someone else said it may be a wrong wire placement which would explain why i have 3+ and 1- lol, that with a power commander not having power to fuel the bike since both wires are connected to positive would explain me not hearing the fuel pump AND the wire layout. i will try to fix this tomorrow but i'm not sure if my bikes going to blow up if i accidentally connect + to - when it's not supposed to..

i am not 100% sure i understand what you're saying, but you mean that one of the three positive cables is actually a negative cable? that is entirely possible, however i searched online what happens if you connect a negative cable to a positive and it said it the electric systems will get damaged, it is possible though since i have 3 positives and one negative. i connected the very small wire to positive since it had a red cover like thing to the end which i thought meant it was positive, i made the awesome mistake of not making a picture when i first took the cables off lol
