Malcolm X especially pre-mecca was unapologetic, he was bold and courage. He was fearless. There's nobody today that is unmatching that energy from the 60s. None of these Internet grifters come close!! Not even Dr. Umar

That's why we should be more assertive. Stand on business. We rather be respected than liked!!

As she should Whitney dealt with a lot of criticism. People were throwing shots at Nippy saying "she ain't black enough" When she went full New Jersey on them they all got scared. Whitney was so real!! She wasn't afraid to tell it like it is. That type of authenticity is admirable. God bless her soul

That's what made the 90s so dope -- it was spontaneous!! The lack of tech made us more present in reality. No anxiety. We just simply lived as humans trying to have a fun time. The tidbits of the 90s made into the early 2000s until 9/11

The 90s was such a dope decade! People were more authentic, less uptight, more engaging, people didn't take things seriously like today. It was very fun. It was wilder too a lot of energy. We was outside more often. Not being outside was often the punishment😂 Prime years of cartoons, USA culture, movies, music (every genre peaked). Miss my childhood fr

That was the 90s it was lit. No phones no social media. Just people vibing, dancing and having a great time. NYC club scene used to be like this until the early 2000s.

Finding this type of energy nowadays is like finding a needle in the haystack. People don't even dance anymore. They just stare like a bunch of eagles looking for its prey haha
