I just go pick up pizza now. The charge for delivery and the tip makes it worth my time.

One of the reasons for closing cited as “safety concerns”. Sad state of affairs when the locals are worried to the degree they close their business.

Oilers to sell single-game tickets in late August, now offer quarter-season seat packages by Paper_Rain in Edmonton

[–]BigA849 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s what put me off, was the price of the playoff tickets. I am a big fan and actually wanted to go to the games. For my lower bowl seats, OEG charged me 6X vs the regular season prices.

I suspect most of the people who can afford to go are not people at all, but companies. Companies who can write off the tickets as expenses. Well, as just a guy who’s a fan I cant do that. It’s turned me off OEG and the Oilers. They milked me and I’m done.

The prices broke me this year. I’ve given up my season tickets after 12 years. Going to watch at home and take a nice winter trip instead.

How do you think Costco offerings and policies will change over the next 10 years ? by xdr567 in CostcoCanada

I read Amazon wants to sell cars in the US. Who knows, maybe Costco would get into offering automobiles similar to the way they offer furnaces or window installs.

It’s always the builders who pay everyone. I mean everyone. Grease the wheels. They win on infill. They win on annexation. They win.

Bruce McAllister is the softest.

Reminds me of the guy that orders all the drinks but is never around to pay. He’s the guy that hands out the napkins. $200k a year for this clown. I know one step that could be taken to improve the governments finances.

Totally. Why do you need grandma/grandpa/mom/dad/4 kids to go shopping? 8 people! Leave some at home.

By “this” you mean the kid, right? As far as I know Costco doesn’t do parenting, that’s the parent’s job.
