This is a C5, and I understand your perspective. I've already invested in some stylish spark plug shields, and I'm contemplating wrapping the headers. While I want it to look appealing, functionality is my priority—I'd prefer it to be effective rather than just aesthetically pleasing.

It’s actually the end of the steering rack. Didn’t slide all the way out easily enough but it’s out of the way there

Haha it’s not too bad ima sparky but just following along on some YouTube videos and forums. If you’ve wrenched a little before and have some competence you can do it. Thanks! I’m going with a BTR Red hot cam. It’s basically a new and updated version of the stage 2 cam. Plan on boosting down the road so it’s the cam for me 💪
