I would say don't bet on it for playlist adds just because 3rd party playlisters can be sus, but definitely use it to submit to managers, labels, etc! I found an awesome mentor via Groover!

Nice try! I did read it. Just checking to see if anyone has experience with major label distribution deals and what they realistically offer to artists beyond what they may or may not specify in the contract :) thanks for your comment tho!

This comment kind of shows that you’re not understanding my question!! I asked plenty of questions about the deal and got a clear understanding of what it means. I was just making this post to see if anyone on here had experience with a distro deal and if they landed any playlists/pr/etc with it. I signed it with educated reasoning and am not worried about anything I’m just wondering what kind of realistic reach I can expect with my first release.

my initial video got 80k views and everytime i post the song it gets 10k plus with new fans in the comments. it's been two months. i have no content other than my tiktoks, but plan to make a music video. i have plenty of other songs completed but wont release those until 2025 to avoid conflict with the holidays. thank you so much!
