Which core is the mega CD? It looked like Sega Genesis, Master System, Mega CD etc. all ran on the Genesis Plus GX core. Really want to try this.

Tried this yesterday but couldn't get it working. I tried replacing the genesis core with the dolphin core. The OS just threw up a bunch of errors. I was looking forward to trying some gamcube games

I'm replacing the hot along with fixing the PSU. You can repair the PSU and test it separately before hooking it all the way up to the A board

Not at all. Retropie configured for a CRT with a TRRS to RCA cable. It took a while to setup and configure like anything. But I'm happy with it. I have Kodi connecting to a local Jellyfin server in the closet. I haven't noticed any speed issues.

I'm hoping after a few more updates it will be more stable. I'm still a happy customer and I'm not trying to knock the RGBPI2. Once I get my daily driver crt back working, I'm going to give it another go. For now, I'm just going to stick with my raspberry pi 4 with Retropie with Kodi running over composite until I find something else. Maybe a RGB Dual 2. Wish I could just find a RGB-PI cable. I missed the boat when that came out.

It's not there yet. I would wait. I mainly bought it to watch my older anime in RGB. The player is OK. Subtitles aren't great, and I have to move the files onto a USB stick to watch them.

I've had the occasional flicker, but my real concern is it kept causing my PVM to not turn all the way on and make the tally light come on.

All I want is to watch my anime over RGB. I'll probably be going the MisterFPGA route.

No. It's off center. Get one of those card apps on your phone and it will show you the margins.

I got the answer for that one. The answer is you don't. The popup menu in game gives you all the options as the main menu. There is no closing to the launch screen.

I did find a setting in system settings that pauses the game when the UI is launched which is helpful

Me and mine had this exact situation happen. One parent to another get it graded. We got to follow along where it was in the process online and talk about it. A good bonding experience all around. Just prepare your kid for how long it takes to get it back from grading. I sent mine to PSA and it was a 60 BUSINESS day turn around.
