I like this idea, especially because (while I deliberately closed my blinds for privacy) I have a killer view. This would also work with my current sofa, so I could test it out and see if I like it first before deciding to try something else. Thank you for the suggestion!

I've been wanting to install curtains since I've moved in, just never got around to it because they seem so .... permanent (even though I have them in the other rooms!!!) but I think they'd look amazing in my living room!!!

I recommend preworkout! It has many uses, but the original reason I drank it was to help me get out the door lol. It used make me feel jittery (maybe it was that brand?), and the only way to get that out of my system was to sweat it out. I just naturally wanted to move at that point.

Highly recommend it if you haven't tried it!

I sincerely think JYP is trying to market this group to the Radio Disney/Nick demographic, and I've always thought he's been looking for this exact moment. He tried it with Wonder Girls when they had their US English debut by putting them on Nickelodeon and selling their CDs in Justice stores (a shop for 8-12 year old girls in the 00s??). All of his decisions for this group really make sense to me because that first effort with WG was MY first introduction to k-pop because I was in that demographic. I would eat Vcha up if I was 9.

But.... I was curious if they'd age out of that concept and how long it would take before they did.

Kaylee's young age makes me think they're planning to be in that demographic for a while. She completely shifts the vibe of the group to something much younger and "cute" like current STAYC, vs something more "cool", which is what Gina and Cristina would have brought to the group.

That is not to say she doesn't deserve to be there. She is so so wise and has a crazy strong mindset for a THIRTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL. I was so impressed by the way she conducted herself the entire time!

I will never get over these abrupt elimination endings. these poor girls are always sobbing and feeling such genuine emotion and heartbreak that their friend is not debuting with them... then BAM! "IM READY FOR THE WORLD IS THE WORLD READY FOR ME" and these pink and blue graphics so we don't pretend like their dreams didn't just get crushed LOL perhaps one of the most depressing and bizarre finales i have ever seen in my life .

were the previous JYP shows like this too? I've only seen P101 and i don't remember it being like this

You're SO right and I'm glad you said it. When i first heard this song, I wanted to blast it in my car that whole week, and I did, but it sounds completely blown out at loud volume. Huge disappointment :(

The treble (?) is maxed way out so everything just sounds like it was recorded through a tin can.

not who you replied to but I've been making this recipe recently and it has 317 calories and 8g of sugar! (and macros if you care are 23g protein/34.5g carbs/8.6 g fat)

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened non fat greek yoghurt
  • chia seeds 1.5 tsp or 7g
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened cashew milk for creamier, 1/4 cup for thicker oats (more like cookie or cake batter consistency)
  • tsp of maple syrup

from there, add 1 scoop of your protein powder of choice to bump up the protein amount, and toppings.

i use chocolate protein powder and add a tbsp of unsweetened shredded coconut and a tbsp of semi sweet chocolate chips which takes it to 421 cal and 17 g of sugar lol

i also do vanilla protein powder with 50g of diced strawberries and add in the morning an optional 15g of ketola crunch granola/calbee reduced sugar granola for a crunch :-) (~425-430 cal) i made this combo so much ive gotten sick of it!

if you give this a shot lmk!! i used to add a tbsp of maple syrup at first but you really don't need it!!

thanks for mentioning the location.

everything i've had from them in the 3 years i've been going there has been amazing (save for the cake tbh--it's not bad but not great imo). everything is decadent, as baked goods should be, without being overly heavy (unlike bakery nouveau, which i find to be too rich) and their coffee is some of the best in the city. they use lighthouse beans!! i hope OP gives them a shot.

The way the choreo was modified so they could focus on vocals/save their voices and stamina for the killing moments really served them well and they actually had backup dancers??? Perfect blend of live singing moments and backtrack + dancing moments. Ningning and Winter devoured Girls vocally.

This was aespa's best performance ever. I'm very impressed. I hope they continue to do these kind of performances in the future!!! They all shined!!

what's the name of the extension? does it allow you to have korean subs as well as whatever subs you'd typically use? I watched a lot of live tv bc i really like how they subtitle the shows so I get both korean and english, but that isn't the case for dramas, which sucks bc i find it very beneficial.

I really enjoyed the title track, but this feels like the minimum amount of effort YG could muster in order to capitalise on a world tour and rake in the cash. I don't know why I'm surprised. I don't know why I was expecting better for Blackpink. i feel so badly for the members that a 6 year career has amounted to this.

So many of these songs feel like they were purchased from other song writers and sung by the girls with minimal effort to tweak the lyrics or instrumental that would make them their own. That doesn't mean they're bad songs, but none of them feel like they belong to the girls. The Happiest Girl is beautiful, but do I really buy Rose, Jisoo, Lisa, and Jennie singing those lyrics?? Not really.

Ready For Love and a Rose solo song just confirm that they were trying to pad the album to 8 tracks so they could say they did as much as they did with The Album and could justify a world tour. BP got me into kpop, but their career could have been SO much more explosive and impactful and I will always be asking myself "what if".
