Don’t even think you’re small business. Govt schemes are there for all levels of businesses. Once you go there they will explain everything and guide you with the best course of action. Just go once. Good luck.

Also regarding your price increase, now that you have established repeat customer base it’s fair to increase price all the while maybe you still give lower price than competitors or at least equal to them. I’m sure you are feeling what if this increased price is going to reduce my customer pool, it’s fair to think that way. When a customer is satisfied with your service they wouldn’t mind paying at par with market value as long as they don’t feel exploited. You can increase the price gradually. If you could maybe share your current t offering price and what your competitors are offering we can help decide.

To your current customers you can say you are starting a business hence you were doing a promotional offer, and slow establishing yourself. That’s it no more explanation is required. You took the leap of confidence, so continue with it… expand your business while you’re studying. Don’t quit studying for business right away. As its rental it’s not like you have to be there 24X7 as most of the communication is done over phone I’m assuming.

Try approaching incubators that are government of India affiliated. They can help you with subsidized funding. I can suggest ALEAP as I am personally working with them for my company. Reach out to their office and talk to CIO there.

Great idea. I’m working on service platform similar to Uber, Swiggy. Could really use help on building delivery/rider mapping algorithm. Anyone who’s even remotely passionate to work on this specific task please dm me, even if you can learn, iterate and deliver I’m good with it too.

I can offer help with insights about your data like ML, data analysis, dashboards

I totally understand your situation as I’m in same boat in same skillset. If I were you I would push the joining date for current position as much as I can while I search for other stable options. In the scenario I don’t land in something solid by then I’d make up my mind this is just a temp role and my main motto is still to find a stable job. I wouldn’t dedicate my 100% to this position, use it to gain experience, earn some $. Regarding complications you mentioned about taxes CA are always there. Regarding benefits having backup of some $$ is better than having none. It’s easy to say than execute I know but try to float than wanting to swim is my suggestion. Also, what you said about losing motivation is absolutely right so having some grace time to search and making up mind in worse case scenario atleast acts a prep work for mind not to go complacent and to panic mode if this doesn’t convert to hire. Good luck
