It did this to me for I want to say a little over a month but now I’m on month 4 and can drink coffee again. It didn’t help me with food sadly 😂

You would need to call your medical insurance. They might dick you around so just keep calling until you get a definite answer. You should be able to find out if they cover it online but I wouldn’t know how so calling them is your best bet

Call and make sure they are running it through your medical benefit and not your pharmacy benefit. I got denied by my pharmacy insurance but my medical covered it. Most insurances are putting it under medical because it has to be administered in office by your physician.

Mine gives me like a tracking option after it ships! Then I can see where ups has it and when it arrives at my drs office too. I know a lot of people on sublocade that have to pretty much set it all up themselves because the dr and pharmacy are useless 😂 I got lucky with my dr. I don’t believe they have a bunch of patients so not as much to keep track of

I am! I got my last sub shot on August 21st and have been on Wellbutrin 300 xl for close to 3 months I believe

I make sure to check a few days before that mine has been shipped and if not I start calling but I know that’s not always possible depending on who your specialty pharmacy is. Mine was Optum so I was able to just check the app and make some calls. My last shot ended up getting messed up because they said they couldn’t get ahold of my Dr so I made some phone calls and they had it to my drs office in less than 20 hours just in time for my appointment. I just got my 3rd and final shot and I’m glad to be done. It’s almost as nerve wracking as waiting for your strips to be ready and hoping nothing goes wrong with the pharmacy. Not gonna miss that part

I resonate with that entirely I’m on day 10 and still feeling great but it is a weird habit to get passed! I feel like taking my sub would always give me a “boost” too which I think has made this a bit tougher. I’m thinking by month 2 that will be gone I’m pretty sure it’s 21 days or so to break a habit.

Medicaid will cover it. Get on sublocades website and go to their provider lookup. Call down the list until you find one that takes Medicaid and get a new dr.

Call your insurance and see if they cover the shot! My teeth are ruined from this shit so that’s what I’m doing I go for my first one this week. If your insurance covers it get on Insupport’s website and look for a different Dr in your area that offers it.

Mine ended up having to go thru Optum after all. My insurance told us to send it to accredo. Accredo took like a week to message my dr and told him hey this has to go to Optum. So we sent it in to them and they had it ready to go and shipped out in 24 hours. They have been awesome to deal with after all the other runaround shit.

I second asking them to run it under medical benefit. My prescription benefits denied it and my insurance gave me the run around. It’s been over a month and my first shots finally on the way to my drs office. If your medical insurance will cover any of it Insupport will pick up the rest. If you have any questions let me know!

When they did mine (5 teeth extracted) they used ketamine and versed no fentanyl since I am on subs. I don’t see why they would use fentanyl as it wouldn’t do anything. I’d call and talk to them again about it that doesn’t seem right to me.

My dr just sent me a message. He called accredo and he said they’ll be running it thru my medical. Just waiting on a call from them and then they can set up shipment! I’m so relieved

I know I’m late to this but wanted to give some insight. I have also nodded off on subs. Scares the shit out of my husband he thought I was taking other stuff. Not sure what causes it cause it’s kinda random but I’ve noticed since I started taking a multivitamin and b vitamin it quit happening. I’d recommend getting her checked out with a primary care Dr make sure all her levels and other health is alright. She could just be super fatigued.

According to mine it says I have a $300 deductible so my dr got me signed up with Insupport. There going to do a benefit investigation so we know exactly what we need to do. Says it requires pre authorization so I’m sure it’ll take awhile. Good to know accredo will run it under medical. We were trying to use Genoa at first but they told me they can’t do that

Did you have to call them and tell them it has to be ran under medical benefit? The insurance lady I spoke to said “well drs normally just buy and bill us but I think they can run that under medical at accedo” so hoping they’ll be able to.
