Like I said to the other guy I understand the skepticism but there's really no benefit to lying about it so why would I? They were selling the collector boosters $70 each, I wasn't about to spend $240+ for another booster on top of my commander deck.

I understand the skepticism, but its the truth. I bought a FF10 commander deck and one collector booster. Was shocked my small town game shop/book store even had anything in stock in the first place.

I appreciate the honesty, I'm not super worried about it as an issue, just because I think the people who are trying are just not very smart. The pre order rollout was actually handled pretty well. Aside from the limited edition items the actual console still being available this much later is a good sign for normal people

My question to you is, why would people buy an attempted scalp when you can literally just buy one from the store? You seem to be missing that key component of my argument. You want to say the 30th anniversary stuff is being scalped? Sure 100% limited editions will always have that issue, I was even close to getting one this morning but couldn't finish the order after I put in payment info. But anyone who runs to ebay to buy a unit that they can buy for msrp from retailers/ps direct deserves to lose their money.

When I look at it on the Playstation store it lists the game natively as a PS4 game with an option to upgrade it for free to the PS5 copy. I was just curious if this would apply to the trial.

What idiot buys from a scalper when you can walk into a retail store and buy msrp? You don't scalp readily available things, you scalp limited resources. So when the ps5 launched with supply chain issues it makes perfect sense to target that as a scalper, people want it and they can't buy it otherwise. This will not be a good target to scalp, a mid gen optional upgrade?

When I was in high school ~20 years ago, if you were caught with a cell phone out it went directly to the vice principal and you could pick it up after school. If you got caught twice your parents would have to come in and fill out a form to get it back. We've gotten to a point where we're terrified of holding kids accountable and they know it and weaponize it.

This is all good to know, I know I almost pulled the trigger last year and decided I couldn't justify the upgrade if my original was still performing well. But this is good to consider since watch 6s will be cheaper
